If only Mini pet could talk. Possible uses for Pets!

hey what if mini pets can actually do something?

like a mini pet giving xtra attribute, hp, energy, degen, regen?

better than them taking up space (cheap pets anyway) or making them a "bragging machine"!

The demand would suddenly increase... as well as the prices.

Miniatures are aesthetic items, they're not supposed to have a purpose.

Pets already have a use - sell them and use the gold on important things.

Mini Fungal Wallow: "Arf!"

Possible mini pets uses:

use them to send message to your friends click mini pets, options comes up, send message to friends, text box comes up, key in message, click okay and a list from your friends list comes up you can then choose to send them the message:

upon their log into game or when they come into the same town as you.

when the friend login to the game/join the town you are in, a (insert mini pet here) appear in the log in screen/travel screen and sings the message to them,

As for the rest of the thread idea, I don't see a point and it'd make the game horribly unbalanced. Sorry, no.

Pretty sure some players would be up for that, even though their movement is a little random atm

I'd want to see Mini Gwen playing her flute... specifically, "We Didn't Start The Fire" on the flute, a comical reference to a Conan O'Brien gag.

No combat bonuses from minipets, please.

However, a polymock-like arena where minipets fight eachother using minipet skills (Gwen vs Bone Dragon!), or ability to name or dye minipets, or ability to customize minipets (my Charr Shaman, Fluffy, *wants* to be dyed pink and get a red bow, dammit!).... That would get my vote.

Isn't that what 99.9% of what GW items are, a bragging machine. There is absolutely no advantage or use of a crystalline/stygian/eternal over a regular long sword or hand axe, and yet people continue to fork over 100k+ for them.

Vanity and a "just-for-kicks-and-giggles" frivolous mentality is a great way to regulate an economy. (in theory anyway)

Might as well indulge these people, let them have fun with their pets. No harm is done.
