OK I have been running the E/Me glacial stone farm a fair bit this weekend. Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots of what a normal run's drops are like but roughly 2-3 golds, 3-4 purples, 3-4 blues, 8-10 glacial stones, 5 or so of each of the special drops and a few random whites/piles of gold.
Then last night suddenly my last 2 runs were total crap, very few drops total and no golds. So I turned it off and took a break.
However today the trend has continued. Have just done 3 runs of 60 spectrals in HM and took a screen of the TOTAL loot, since it is so bad.
That's right, you see there everything that I have from killing 180 HM mobs. Using sliver armor so they die at a steady rate not all at once.
So..... is the farming code back? Have Anet reinstated it without telling us? I can't think of any other reason for the same results, steady over several runs, suddenly dropping to absolute shit for 5 runs. I have killed at least 300 HM creatures with not a single gold drop.
If so I will be gutted. Busy time of year for me especially, being a single dad with a 4 yr old, I am getting 10 mins here and there to try to make the most of this 'event' so my poor ele stands there freezing his nuts off for 5 hours, only actually doing 10 mins of 'work' now and then. If I now have to go off and do random crap with him for a coupla hours to clear the code, I won't be farming again til the 'event' is pretty much over.
