PLEASE put dragon arena during holiday

Don't even think about "only" putting snowball arena! Dragon arena hasn't been around since April (you didnt put on halloween, ridiculous!) and since it's the most fun game mode in gw, IT CANNOT BE MISSED OUT NOW!!

Well, Wintersday is only celebrated in Tyria and Elona... so I doubt it'll be done in Cantha, which has the Dragon Arena + boardwalk native to it...

That's exactly why they're probably not going to add it, but as i said, it's been 8 months since they put it last, and it's BY FAR the best and most popular minigame and game mode. I'd be really sad depressed emo panda if they don't add it this time.

Dragon arena isn't an xmas event. And snowballing wipes the floor with everything else in gw

Farin is bad at Dragon Arenas. Therefore, I am completely in favor of this.

they should give us only finally all these minigames like snowball throwing, dragon arena and rollerbeetle racing permanently ..

especially the rollerbbetle race is a minigame of GW, that can be massively IMPROVED for more fun by giving that minigame just a big load of new racing tracks, then just only 1

Would exist like 18 different race tracks places at 18 different spots of the whole GW World..then could anet make somethin like Rollerbeetle World Championships, where like the best xxx players can take on ...and the rest can make winning bids on the xunlai..

I made i think even here a big suggestion thread alone for this here a while ago with like 18 example names or more for neew race tracks and where those tracks hsould be on Tyria(inclusive the North), Cantha and Elona.

Imo its the best minigame of all in GW with the most best ways to improve it to perfection (polymock just sucks and with its current concept it has no great potenticial for improving it, other then to change it finally into a pvpable version too and snowball battles improve ? lol its just throwing snow.. this can't be improved XD maybe only the gameplay, improving maybe the targeting...making it more a real 3D real time minigame, where players have really to aim!!! and not just to smash buttons like a spastic cripple and watching, how the balls never miss)


GW needs at least 1 very well thought out minigame with good long term motivation through a big offer on different ways to play it, that is perma playable ..so that the players have a way to get ever Gamer Points ..and not ever only every x months..when special holiday events are running,where those minigames get activated for us ... that sucks and makes just the gamer Title being something impossible to max in a humanous time span...before GW2 will release ...

if the concept about Minigames and the gamer title stays so, at it is atm ..then players will need YEARS to max this title..even after release of GW2 and this can't be!!! thats a terrible concept for this title ...

But seriously. Dragon Arena IS fun, but it's a Canthan event. Wintersday is the winter festival, thus you get snowball-throwing games and festive quests. People weren't demanding to save reindeer during the Dragon Festival, were they? No, because that's not what the event was about. :P

That's what makes these events so special -- you only have a small window of opportunity to enjoy the games before they're shut down for a year or so.

As much as Xylias Spiritbound and I loved the Dragon Arena and as much memories we have from it (like leveling Xylias all the way from 1 to 20 after three events during which it was open), it became inferior to us when he won his Rollerbeetle mini in Racing. Later, we found out that in the same time he earned 1k Gamer Points in DA, due to being held back by teammates that suck, or wouldn't do anything, or didn't know what "team" or "work" meant, he could have earned 2k Gamer Points in Rollerbeetle Racing by box camping and Echo+Supering his way to the finish line.

Off the topic of my selfish interests, the Dragon Arena has absolutely no ties to Wintersday, so I don't see this happening. Even if it would, Snowball would still be around, which is much better than the Dragon Arena because:

1. Less Teammates = Pushes more responsibility on people to do well.
2. Not a kill fest.
3. Varying profession and team skills make for more strategic gameplay.
4. Varying locations for gifts make strategic gameplay.
5. 10 points vs. 5 points.

I read your post in the linked thread. You don't know what the Gamer title is, do you?

Gamer title is exclusive to festivals and special event minigames. It will not and should not become an all year-round title, because that's not what it was meant to be. Lots of PvP titles probably won't be maxed before GW2 comes out. That's okay, because if you want maxed titles, there's about 35 that you can max out already.

As far as minigames being enabled year-round, without Gamer points, that would be a great idea. I doubt any improvement will be put into any of the existing games, minus some balance bugs that may have existed.

They should at least give us more gamer weekends. They keep repeating all these other pvp weekend events, let people who like the gamer title work on it more than twice a year.

That costume game was a pile of crap. Half the builds were ineffective (who the hell made that paragon build? A developer's new, 3 day old daughter?). And it just wasn't fun. At all. I only managed to get 300 gamer points from it before my brain put my body into a coma so I would stop playing it.

Why in the world would they give the gamer title similar ranks to the other pvp titles? It's virtually impossible to max the gamer title as it is. If they can **** up the gladiator title, then they can at least give the gamer title realistic values. I play the games as much as I possibly can whenever we can, and I'm not even at R3 yet.

i wish all those new arenas would stay permanently to give us a break from all the fighting.

They could put all games in a 'Realm of Lyssa' or 'Real of Dwayna' , so you pay 1k, go down there, to play all games.

They entrances could be also in the empty space between the Zaishen challenge and the Great Temple of Balthazar. In this case paying Tournament tokens to enter.

How long have you been working on your title? Since when it first came out? I only got 1.4k Gamer Points from Costume Brawling, and that was fine with me. As for the builds in Costume Brawling, I'm sure nobody forced you to play Paragon. I played Ritualist, and I loved it.
