Prophecies isn't too bad to start in.
1. You can do Charr at the Gate a few times for easy xp.
2. You can get a run to LA and then to Kaineng for armor and xp.
For Nightfall, you can get armor straight away, but can't get off Istan as easily.
Cantha is a mixed bag. Easy xp on Shing Jea but exploding Afflicted.

I say start where you feel most comfortable. You can start anywhere and get max armor pretty quick. Just a preference of looks imo. (character wise)

However early Prophecies can be a bit iffy (I'm thinking of the PvP when going into Post, but this can be circumnavigated), so be aware that it could fall apart, but if you're not level 20 or so that should be ok. Nightfall would be a good place to start, what with people doing taxis to the Docks every hour, and the presence of heroes. Factions of course has the wonderful free-exp quests in Kaineng, but early starts there can be awkward with the afore-mentioned Afflicted.
I'd say Nightfall personally, just for the ease, but you must also take into account how your Ele is going to look, don't want to be staring at an ugly Legendary Survivor now do you?

If you have the couple plat it takes to pay for rune then definately prophecies. Get out of pre as soon as you can and make sure to skip the arena you have to fight in by logging out before the fight starts and logging back in. Then pay for a run to la and go to nf for the herores and then to factions for quick leveling. Now make sure when you go to cantha you take the quest from prophecies and not nf.

Ya, this sounds good, I do like the look of proph eles better. I do like the idea of jsu getting to la, and my one friend can even run me to droks he said so we'll see thanks

Dreadnought's Drift is iffy for survivors because the mobs can spawn uncomfortably close.
Doubefoot
oh ok well then nf it is, thanks a ton guys

This might be too late, but here it is anyway...
Why would you travel all the way to Droknar's Forge when you have access to the other campaigns? Kaineng armor is only like an hour away from Beacon's Perch if you h/h the missions or five minutes if you get run. Not to mention that the risk of death is negligible.
To be honest, I'm surprised that a market for Drok's runs still exists. Prophecies-only players are probably the lone people who really desire them.

Droks runs are also useful for those who just want to cap 1 or 2 elites from shiverpeaks/ring of fire.
To the OP:
Cantha is the fastest, tyria is the slowest, but start wherever you feel most comfortable with. I usually make a Canthan solely because I like the canthan faces more.

OH don't worry about it guys, I sorta combined information. I'm gonna go through Nightfall for a bit, get my heroes up a bit, maybe get to 20 in nf, idk yet. I bought my max armor at the the Docks last night, got my frry to la, and will do the cantha quest sometime when I feel I'm strong enough. But not yet. Idk now if I should waited for Cantha armors, but the reg armors in Cantha aren't that great really beside one, so I stayed with Sunspear
Thanks for all the help guys, my long quest toward survivor begins.

Most runners (if not all) refuse to take survivors for that and other reasons. You'd be better off going to Kaineng from LA.
