What is the best one for Prophecies and Nightfall
(Factions is obvious,Ghials Staff)

Stormlord Alex
Ghial's is actually not too good.
A 20/20 Wand and Artifact is the 'best' overall for a PvE necro, allowing you to cast more skills overall than any other combo.

Hmmm. I just liked it because it halves recharge time havles casting time and and add +1 dm
Darkobra
+1 Death Magic is very miniscule for a minion master. It's not as good as people hype it up to be.

I dunno that extra 1-2 levels that you gain from the +1 might be helpful
street peddler
in nightfall go for The Nightbringer
Dante the Warlord
Assuming you are an mm...
You wanna just use a 20% HCT 20% HSR offhand and a 20% HSR +5 energy or 20% HCT..
Halves Skill Recharge is really important for a minion master since producing a lot of minions is ideal. A lot of the skills take a while to recharge and you need to produce more minions then are being killed off.

Death req. staff with HSR/HCT 20%, +15 energy, +30 health, or +60 health (hale head and fortitude wrap).
+1/20% DM is crap, +health/energy is actually useful.

Ideally as a MM you don't wan't +HP mods on your weapons, assuming you use [skill]blood of the master[/skill] to keep your minions alive. More HP = more health sacced.
For me personally i prefer either a staff or martial weapon with a +20% enchant mod, and +energy because i use [skill]aura of the lich[/skill], [skill]dark bond[/skill] and [skill]mystic regeneration[/skill] on the rare occassion i run a MM build.
For greens i'd go for the [wiki]Grim Ghostly Staff[/wiki] from Nightfall, or any of the Droknars Death weapons or the SR staff if you have EotN (i know you didn't ask for EotN weapons but i'm just saying fyi). Ghials is ok but the DM+1(20%) mod could be better imo.
Depends what kind of MM you wanna run really and your personal preference.

You'd probably want something with 20/20/20 and maybe 20% enchants.
Olim Chill
A 40/40 set can really keep you rolling. I recommend that.
+1 DM 20% is more tease than please.

There's always Bortak's Claw from Prom - 5^50, 20% HCT Death - or Torub's Wand from NF - 5^50, 10% HSR - coupled with you favorite off-hand. I prefer to use the 12/15/-1/+30H ones myself. I did just recently get a Factions drop - 12/15/-1/+1 Death 20%, Konrru's Fervor.

I use a staff with the following stats:
+10 energy
11-22 Cold Damage (req 10 Death Magic)
HSR 20%
+15 energy/-1 regen (inscription)
+5 energy (head)
+1 Death Magic 20% (wrapping)
I like the +1 Death as it allows my minions to be a higher level and do more damage. The alternatives were Fortitude, Valor, Endurance, Devotion, Enchanting, Defense, Shelter, Warding, or Slaying.
Since I don't want more health for Life Sacrifice, and don't need more armor due to Dark Bond, that leaves Slaying or Mastery. Slaying is highly limited, and of no use for a MM. I could change the head and/or inscription for a HCT mod, but with Bloodstained insignia, I don't see a need for it.
When I run builds other than MM, but still use Death Magic, it allows me to do more damage, so I definitely like the +1 mod. I use +1 on almost all my caster classes except Monk, although I do if I Smite

I personally like the Nightbringer from Nightfall. Had a few Gahial's but gave them all away to guildies. I also have a gold staff that has very nice mods on it that don't have extra hp, I switch between the gold staff, and the Nightbringer.

i think nightbringer is the best coz it gives u 40% (or is it 36%) chance of half casting time, since many death magic spell have 2 or more seconds of casting time.
before that i like the woespreader becoz the +60hp allow me to play around with major runes.
i never like ghial's. the +1 death magic (20% chance) is overhyped....

I agree, the Nightbringer is the way to go. Cheap, and easy to find. Wand/Odffhand sets take too long to find the right combo for the right price when it comes to greens.
