First I have a Black Widow, but it was Hearty and it doesn't fit for my thumper build. So when GWEN came in, I charmed a new pet, the Polar Bear, but it was a little bit stupid. Then I charmed a Rainbow Phoenix, but it's an idiot chicken. It's so big that I can't see anything, it's too loud and it has an ugly face.
My current pet is a Dire Black Wolf, and I'm satisfied with her ^^

Actually, doesn't Brutal Mauling activate anthems like Anthem of Flame? I'm pretty sure it does, and if you have no pet skills and a paragon on your team, rock on.

Hmm, my all time favorite pet would have to be between the Black/Snow wolves.
Had a snow wolf prior GW:EN, my first pet and got me through proph, factions, and most of NF, was named Balto
Switched him in for a black wolf, then grabbed a Raven.

Used to have a white tiger, but sadly they made them grow... thought they looked much nicer when they were small. Currently using a Rainbow Phoenix (Mc Chicken), but don't really like it that much - probably going to dump it for a croc.

My favorite and first pet was also a Melandru's Stalker. I eventually got rid of it for an Iguana from the desert. My stalker, Mousebane, was named after a now deceased 14 year old cat, which I loved, so I kind of feel guilty about getting rid of the stalker.

Lynx is the best. Especially a Lynx named Zergling with a Dune Lizard named Hydralisk coinciding with a Bear named Ultralisk and a Moa Bird named Mutalisk (Ya, my guildies played Starcraft, whatcha gonna do about it? Strangely enough, though, we never played Zerg... ).
