Been off GW for a looong time, mainly because I moved and couldn't get Internet till recently.
Still only have Prophecies, still haven't finished with any of my four characters, barely gotten two to Ring of Fire, none ascended, etc etc.
What are some new additions to the game overall?
Last "new" thing I remember was the introduction of insignia.

How'd you get to the Ring of Fire w/o ascending?

Get to Ring of Fire without ascending by Droks Run and skipping the Crystal Desert. Bad idea, if you only have the prophecies campaign. You will miss out on the final 30 attribute points and not be able to change your secondary prof.

Mostly what you've missed is that GW is ridiculously easy now. Even the hardest parts are only a function of how many powerstones you can afford.

You can get heroes in Nightfall and GWEN now.... Heroes are replacements for PUGs if you want to customize them (unlike the vanilla Henchies)

1) Nightfall's been out for a loooong time
2) I only have Prophecies
