When compared to PUGs, there is no comparison at all. Best experience with Heroes is all of them that don't have any PUG players in them.

I love how people say "PUG" instead of teammate or party member or whatever... (sarcasm). Playing with people is way better than heroes. Heroes makes the game single player. My best exp with heroes is when they got run over by a giant boulder in GW:EN. God they don't know how to move.

I love how stupid people think pug = teammate lol. A pug is a 'pick up group', the random scrub teams full of failure that you make by spamming LFG in an outpost. Now my teammate could in fact be a guildie or alliance member in an organised team for HM or elite missions.

So sorry, but your pug = teammate logic fails.

My heroes dont get run over by boulders, I have a flag to stop that from happening. I suggest you learn how to play better.

Good to have heros for first time insted of henchies plus u can do so much more to heros ,altho tahlkoras a terd monkey wen it comes to healing part from that having heros is great 24/7 spec wen uve maxed em out ;D

I decided to see if I could kill stuff in the UW with a group of Heroes. 3 heroes + me.

I went as mesmer/e - tank. Brought Inepitude and Hypochrondria to blind the aatxes.

Brought a SS/BR necro, SF ele and a protect/healing monk.

I didn't have much trouble clearing most groups. Cleared the chamber, killed the smites and coldfires, also cleared teh area around the mayor. I was really proud of myself. Hmm...I can't remember how I died. I do remember that the drops sucked. Took like 2 hrs and all I got was a UW scroll. >.>

The best experiences with heroes is when you and your guildies/friends team up and fill the rest of the team spots with heroes and get the job done in one sitting. While pugs fail and fail and more fail.

Heroes > half the population of Guild Wars.

Best thing about hero's - no more "6/8 looking for monks", no more "quick - there's a monk", and no more "I am talking to ........" with the frantic pinging.

Time has been freed up and that is just fine with me.

Oh - and I love pimping the lil guys with cool gear - armour upgrades, ghostly / dragon staffs, serpent axes, ele swords etc

i love it when i had vekk, souske, zhed, with cinn in any combination for they might not chain there skills but they chain each other

That would be pretty much everything.
They helped me on every mission.
They helped me with leg. guardian.
They helped me vanquishing.
They don't complain when I stand afk in an area for 1hr+ while vanquishing.
They help me with 600/smite farms.

and does livia looks good or what.

HEROS ARE MORE INTELLIGENT THAN WE GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR!!!

Now that I have made that statement, allow me to proceed.

I was playing somewhere in NF when I was distracted by one of my siblings and then I died. The area was rather difficult so I figured my henchment would die without me. I then desperately started pressing on the rezing skill attatched to Talhlk but she, for some reason, refused to rez me.

Then, as I watched, my horror turned to absolute delight as the heros managed to beat back a rather difficult hord of enemies and then, and only then, when they had cleared the whole area would Tahlk rez me.

So I say that we should have a national heros appreciation day for them. *Starts clapping* THANK YOU HEROS!!! *Tears well up in my eyes*

*Sniffs* Well, t-that's my story. *Snorts into tissue*

heroes are awesome because I never have to play the game for more than 10 seconds.
open the window, Look at radar... Run into aggro, switch to guru/ other game.

Come back in 5 minutes, everythings dead.

Rinse and repeat

I had another great experience today XD

I started the dungeons yesterday, only on normal mode ATM and did the 5th one with the big jotun boss at the end. He, as well as every other boss, died in about 5 seconds with the following bars:

Basically I put SV, SS, Barbs, Pain inverter, empathy on melee or backfire / overload spike for casters, and echo spam Great dwarf weapon on all my henchmen and norgu (I use both the warrior and monk henchies, the bonus damage and KD's trigger from norgu, mhenlo, and lina's wands too XD)

Norgus build is what I call my boss slayer bar, It does incredible damage to them, and he has 640 HP so Grenths balance normally steals around 200-300 health from them when he is low on health. I started off with an MM in Kathandrax and found him a waste of a slot against all the burning and bosses so swapped him to Norgu.

Red bars on enemies and bosses just Vanish XD. I'm going to try change reckless haste to Soothing Memories on the SS for some extra heals and better energy management for my hero and change my attunement to blurred vision on the next dungeon.

My hero pride happened during all of the QQ over Gate of Madness. Needless to say I was a bit intimidated by GoM when I got there. Distant memories of Thunderhead Keep came rolling into my mind. But, I stood strong and did it. Achieved masters on my first try. so yea, heroes are 10x better than the avarage player.

But unlike what someone said before they are not better than the players that use them. The heroes are only as good as the player using them. Hence why most of us can do anything we want in the game with them. Maybe that guy should stop the QQ and learn to play better.

Constructing a 2-player, 6-hero teambuild to vanquish Grothmar Wardowns, after failing with necroway. Ended up with 3 SF eles with Aegis, 2x Extinguish, 1x Reverse Hex, Morgahn with ToF!, Stand Your Ground, and motivation, Ogden with SoR, Tahi with WoH. Still got spiked by that air ele boss with Ride the Lightning, but it was still a beauty to watch them chain casting Aegis.
