My monk used a Spatha caster moded for the longest time. Not only unique looking, but useful in a pinch if you have to row back to shore!
Also, the Tall Shield is by far my favorite shield skin. Nice shape, and it dyes really well. I think a lot of people over look it because it's the default PvP skin.

Shield of the Wing - I really like those. They look awesome on my mesmer and my warrior.
Oh and mammoth axes. I bought one quite a while back for my dervish, modded especially for him (+5e inherent, 20% enchants, zealous). Never seen anyone running with that. Same for crescent axes - but they dye so well... o_o.
And I just thought about the Tyrian Hand Axe skin. God they're huge. I absolutely love those.

I agree though, the Runic Axe is very pertyful.
Another skin I like is the normal Highlander sword. Everyone goes for the Greater Highlanders =(

I think the sage blades are underrated and nice,
in regards to the Spatha, I still use the req 8 15^50 one I got over 2 years ago. One of the best in balance of size and detailing for a weapon in the game imo

Jeweled staff looks pretty nice, but I wouldn't call it the best. Though it was my mesmer's first weapon. My mesmer, born in pre, was sold a purple jewled staff for 537 gold, all he had =P. It was his first weapon, and my first, aside from starter canes.

I have to agree with the Spatha and Canthan Broadsword.
My first character was a War and had a gold Furious Spatha... wasn't perfect or even full sword damage, but I kept it for agggges before deciding to try salvaging the furious mod back when they were really expensive and I was really poor.
Sadly, I got iron ingots. ;_;

Shinobi, Katana, Jitte, golden phoenix blade, celestial, all great swords.
Ornate shield, and diamond/amber/iridescent aegis are awesome for shields.
Oh and I like gemstone axe + winged shield a lot.

Yes, very nice collection Shakkara. I like the bladed shield with the broadsword. I generally don't like the bladed, but with that armor set up it works. Maybe it is the fact that it isn't undersized on a female warrior.
