Hall of Monoments Question
worthydaydream
I have a few things I don't understand about Hall of Monuments:
1) According to Wiki "The Monument of "Devotion" shows little statues of your miniatures and collectibles." Everyone just talks about minis, what sort of collectibles can I put in there?
2) Although no one knows the specifics of how the hall of monument will carry into GW2, I believe you can dedicate two different minis of the same type (Ex. dedicate two destroyers to the same hall) Has anyone else been doing this for prospective future benefits from the Devotion monument?
3) Some monuments say things like (at least rank 4). If you post your achievement at rank 4, will it automatically update when you reach rank 5? Is it possible to update the ranking later, or should you wait till max level to post?

1. I think in this case "collectibles" may just refer to things like the "Black Moa Chick" that aren't called "minis", but act the same way.
2. Although no one (outside of ANet, and maybe even not them yet) knows exactly what benefits you may get in GW2 from things in the HoM, I doubt that having more than one of the same mini will make a difference. You'd probably get more benefit from putting them each in a different character's HoM.
3. I don't know. But, of course, you could always wait until GW2 comes out to put anything in the HoM. That way you'd have the max level, and might have some idea of what actually makes a difference.

You cannot have 2 minatures of the same type in the Monument of Devotion.

Actually you both would have to prove it. Since it is all speculation at this point neither of you can.
Darkk wound just because you read it on the internet does not make it true.

Ok, so wait until they announce the release date of GW2 - sheesh!

I would think that if ANet plans to lock the HoM with the release of GW2 (which I seriously doubt) they will notify the players before the release date, which is still a long, long time from now.
Unless it is officially stated by ANet, it's just a rumor. You can do whatever you want with rumors ..... believe them, stretch them, or just spread them around like fertilizer.
