Sword mastery-

Way of the Sword...{e}
Elite Stance.
Adrenaline - 4.
for 1....12 seconds you attack 33% faster, do +0...10% damage while wielding a sword. This stance ends if you fail to hit.

Tiger Stance with a 20% customization sword.

Besides that it's basically a duplicate of Flail, Tiger Stance, Flurry, etc, I doubt we'll have new skills to look foward to.

no i wanted a skill in sword mastery because there is no tatics ASI so u can have a tank build with an ASI and no strength... also the + damage because then swords start to look as good as axe's it is nothing like the stances you mentioend since; they use strength, and decrease somthing(eg. damage) so with out damage speed or easy to spam ASI how is it the same.

You have Frenzy and Flurry as no-attribute IAS skills.

Note that even with the damage penalty, you end up with a net increase in damage with Flurry.

An IAS skill for swordsmanship, axe mastery, and hammer mastery would be very welcome.

Every IAS skill, however, has some sort of tradeoff or balance mechanism. The same would have to be true in this case.

We already have a movement penalty, a damage penalty, one where you take more damage for the skill's duration, one the ends if you miss. What else could we do here?

You could have an IAS like:

"All-out attack" - stance - 15 energy/12 sec recharge - for [5...10...15] seconds you attack 33% faster but have cracked armor (something like aggressive refrain but for swordsmanship).

strength > tactics in organized PvP where u don't need a self heal/"tanking" skills (shields up, etc)
tactics > strength in PvE

Anyway, I like the idea. It is an elite after all, so its not like it would be abusable. It only works when equiped with a sword, so no fear of A/W abuse. Its one of those rare skill suggestions that is actually kinda balanced.
We already got Dwaven Battle Stance. Bring on the weapon specific IASs.

I'd rather it be energy rather than adrenaline based. An elite though? Think about the sword for a second, how many good skills are there?

If you say Sever Artery and Gash, well, you have two of the most commonly used ones. Sun and Moon Slash....savage slash...any others? No, not really. We need improved sword attacks NOW!

Because the proposed skill is a stance, [card]Standing Slash[/card] would work really well with it.

Quivering Blade? +34 damage on 16 sword mastery and only costs 4 adrenaline. The downside? If its blocked you become dazed. Like my warrior gives a **** about that...
