been playing with shroud of silence at 13 DA and 14 DM (you know im crazy)
So I have a secondary hex for other purposes, I use Siphon since its a fast recharging snare, and I can use it to force monks to use their veil.
However with High DA other hex's become more appealing
Also
If you weren't taking siphon...wtf would you use =P
Shameful Fear looks good with +5 energy daggers kind of.
To siphon or not to siphon?

Shameful Fear looks good with +5 energy daggers kind of. Hmm, usually in DM/DA hybrid builds I run 14 DA, 12 DM and 8 CM but I guess its more a difference in playstyle.
As for hexes, I'm personally a fan of Enduring Toxin- nothing like killing multiple wammo's at the same time with it and Siphon Speed. There's no other decent nonelite hexes that are viable options for a dagger build. The only thing I really don't like is SoS's disabling of your own spells.

Ya enduring seems about right. With it being able to be reapplied and giving -4 regen, considering the build has none.

I like Enduring Toxin.
Even if they have veil up, it still takes almost no time to cast, as opposed to Siphons 2 seconds. No guarantee that they will use veil to remove it though. Edit: Removed something that I wasn't thinking about at 2 am.
I don't like Mark of Death. The effect really isn't that huge, but the recharge and energy cost are.
Shameful Fear just has too long of a cast time. If they are veiled you are looking at a 4 second cast time.

Mark of Death and Mark of Insecurity are both meh imo.

siphon is about the only real multi purpose hex in there.. only one i use alot anyways.
Ashe.
Siphon Speed is, in my opinion, the best hex in the assassins arsenal. I mean, a 5 energy 1 second cast 5 second recharge skill is almost untouchable.

Uh, yeah. Big ups to SSpeed.
Magikarp
sspeed is the best sin hex in the game imo

I have to agree. It basicly doubles your speed relative to the target, it has a low recharge and low energy cost.
Enduring Toxin is also good, but mostly for its quick cast time and ability to hinder fleeing opponents.
