This is in regards to the 10-day long GWEN event: I just wanted to be the first to say thank you for a non-event weeklong weekend...event! It really did help out some of us that mostly play on the week days due to spending time with the family. Again, thanks! I wish there were more of these

I totally agree with the OP. Week-long events are definitely nice as opposed to weekend-only. Either way, any event is a big plus... and they have kept me playing GW until GW2 comes out at least.

Week long events gives those people who are busy on weekends time to actually play during these events. I know I normally can't play during the weekends because that is the only time I have to hang out with friends. So it's nice to be able to participate in an event finally. Thanks Anet.

Yeah week-long events are pretty awesome for people like me who can't play much during the weekends for various reasons. I sincerly hope that A-net catches on that not everyone can play on weekends and besides, how hard can it be for them to make more week-long events.
