Just taking a break from doing FoW with heroes and I figured I might as well bitch now so that by the time I complete it - other people will already be pissed and I don't need to wait!
See - I am not the biggest fan of the AoE effect - BUT the old one was really too much out there! I mean - for the love of everything that is sweet and lovely smelling - move out of those 15 Fire Storms you silly thing!
So we saw some lovely modification and now the foes react much better to AoE!
And it seems somebody incorporated the same thing into heroes!
Yay once again for moving!
The problem are some minor details:
As we know the lovely [skill]Zealot's Fire[/skill] also triggers that effect.
And this is how this effect looks in pictures!
Run Koosy, RUN! And you too Goren!
I kinda bring 2 warrior heroes to do some sweet damage - and all they do is run around and do bloody nothing?
Is that a hint to move back to running 3+ eles, guys?
I have no idea why, first I thought it might be [skill]Mark Of Pain[/skill], but it seems SS has the same effect!
This time Goren does his PE for the day!
What the hell?
Is that a hint to move back to PuGing and LFG Tank, Nuker, Healer!?
Come on guys, let's fix this!
Run Koosy, RUN!

Lol.. bring the eles, and a guildie/friend human X/Warrior or Warrior/X with "Save Yourselves!" (kurz/luxon skill). The eles will bring in the firepower, and the shout should keep them alive well enough.

My main is a warrior and I have done everything you can imagine with him, but I just can't stand hero warriors in my team. Heroes make pathetic warriors, they can't chose correct position, don't understand that their power is in their attack skills, run back and force, auto-atack like idiots, use shouts outside of the agro bobble etc... Just don't use hero-warriors

Very true. One of the only uses I've found for Hero warriors is something to case Splinter-Rage on. I tried a few melee characters out with builds a while back against the master of damage. It was interesting to note that whether I gave Koss 3 attack skills + Dragon Slash, or just Dragon Slash on it's own, he would still not spam attacks. He might spam Dragon Slash 4-5 times in a row, then nothing for 20 or so seconds...
Koss with D-Slash came out with the same DPS as Zenmai with a Siphon Strength build with Black Spider Strike, Golden Fox, Wild Strike and Death Blossom...both were about 35 DPS. Melonni with a standard sort of scythe build came out at 28 DPS (though that's not counting the AoE effect of the scythe), and Anton, with a Locust's Fury build came out with 45 DPS...I figured, "well boys, if you're not going to use your attack skills, you can at least have additional chance to double strike"...seems to work, and is fun with splinter weapon.
More on topic though, I've not really noticed my Warriors doing this, they just stand there and smack stuff, albeit often without using their fully charged attack skills. The monks, however, do kite, a LOT, but they're on no-attack and I suppose it's to be expected. I'll watch them a bit more closely in future and monitor their behaviour a bit.
