Sync Dancing Problem

I know how to sync dance by typing /dance * however it never syncs with other ppl that are using the same dance as me unless we sync dance at the same time yet sometimes if i type it in right before the dance ends it works so wth?

Its a timing thing. If they are already dancing and you type /dance *. how does the game know who you are trying to dance with? just have everyone do a /jump or something and try again.

note: /jump is a good emote to use if you are trying to cancel what you are doing since it doesn't move you at all. Comes in very handy when trying to make videos and things like that.

Not exactly. The /dance * emote works by following a game-based "beat", about once every ten seconds. This happens to be the same length as the various dances. When you use any of the * emotes, the emote will go off when the next beat rolls around. However, people who use normal emotes aren't necessarily in sync with this beat. In other words, the /dance * emote will synchronize with other people who also used the /dance * command, but probably will not work with people who simply used the /dance command.
