Elite ranger tome?

If i unlock Barrage on my roleplaying rangers PVP section (when i talk to priest balthazaar) can i use an elite ranger tome and unlock it to use on roleplaying?. Instead of actually going to kill the boss and get it.

yes, thats the whole point of tomes

i thought tomes were for if u unlocked it on a diff character but the same acc then you could get it for your other character of the same proffesion

So long as the skill is unlocked, either from pve toons or the priest of balth, you can use a tome to learn it.
