BA vs. BHA

Which is better? I know that since i want to shut down casters, bha would be better, but for generally just ascending a char, which would be and easier load?

[skill]Burning Arrow[/skill] duh. Cuz, from my experience, any foe can be on fire.

[skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill], though very useful in PvE, is limited to casters.

Dazed is only really useful when you're going up against annoying bosses. Your enemy will most likely be dead before dazed would of caused a major impact. I'd go with BA.

I have started using BHA whilst vanquishing areas in Tyria, the Depths of Tyria, Cantha and Elona and Ive found it very useful in HM where enemy casters are so strong.

However, seeing as you are talking about ascending a character, i assume you're too early on to be dealing with such high-power enemies. Its likely that with a good H/H or party setup, the enemies wont last long enough for BHA to be necessary over the usual [skill=text]Distracting Shot[/skill][skill=text]Savage Shot[/skill] setup.

Therefore, in lower end PvE id say BA, in higher end PvE id say BHA.

High end pve? I guess I didn't get that memo.

BA > BHA

I use BHA for bosses and on heros but I tend to use Punishing Shot as I get +60 damage with minor on.I specc in Marksmanship and Expertise for the most part.

Yessss.... Age that is exactly what I do, I find that heroes use BHA well.

BA>BHA majority of time.

Don't get me wrong, there are many times BHA would be more useful; such as besting Kuunavang.

Imo BA is better, but you should really get both though, as they're situations where BHA's a must too.

Yes, Apply Poison works well with both of them ^_^ As a cover condition on BHA and to max out degen with BA
