As a warrior I never run either of these mods.
I have shields with -2/+45 while enchanted (actually thinking of ditching this) or -3/+50 while hexed.
The idea is that you get the help when you actually need it and not the whole time. It makes it much more usefull as either a tank or a damage dealing wammo (only actual reason for the /Mo is to counteract the frontliners in PUGs with a hard res... monks and eles mainly )

There are really a million ways to look at it. As a PvE'er, I look at +30 as being wanded 2-3 times, less if it's a melee attacker. At that point if you die, it's inevitable and the +30 isn't going to help you, but taking less damage overall may.

PvP, completely different ball game.

My earlier statement is wrong, I mixed together DW and DP. DW does affect +health if you're below 500 health.

I prefer a balance between the two. I tend to try to attain around 600+ health and 70+AL on any squishes in pvp.

Use whatever you feel you like, test out both and see if they fit your playing style. If you run into a lot of physical dmg use +5, or if you have heavy degen use +30.
u mean u don't have 16 on fire/curses/death/etc ? that's a auto-kick in most of the elite area, have fun with the h/h.

back to the topic, i say switch aroud. as a melee, more armor is always good, but when u under heavy deg, get ur hp up. for casters, if u become a target and start taking damage, nothing will save u except a good monk, so get a 20% ench if u want to show off ur caster weapon. as for trade, how often do u see a +4 armor, compare to +29 hp and less.
