Essence of Celerity and Feather cost

I'm posting a suggestion for gathering feathers and iron and have tested.
I know ways to make gp faster to buy feathers to get celerities but this is kinda new and reduces the monotony of farming for me. It's a fairly fast killing team setup. I get about half a stack of feathers and iron from salvage per clearing. Ideas for tweaking or other class builds are welcomed and greatly appreciated. ty gl and hf!

almost forgot to tell that i use 20/20 offhands and 20% ench swords on the eles so they get close enough to all foes for flame burst spam

You failed to mention which zone you were using this set-up in. It's difficult to contribute to this thread if we have no idea what you're talking about.

I had quite a bit of luck clearing Caromi Tengu around Bergen Hotsprings. I brought an ineptitude mesmer (myself), a minion master, two SF heroes, mehnlo, and the fire henchman. Worked well - earned about ~60 feather on average.

I just buy feathers in town. I don't have much time to play to farm my own feathers, but even then they are either pricey or no one has them.

If you can farm Quetzal's outside Tarnished Haven and Grotto, you ncan probably salvage the crests into decent amount of feathers.

Naphui quarter in Cantha also used to have nice feather drops.

Ah... so this is a thread about the best way to get feathers so that you can buy an essence - not using an essence to farm feathers. makes much more sense now.
