I believe it was the 10th win for the other 3, so they left since the next game will be in TA. You get no opposing party because hardly anyone enters battle in TA without a team.

IMO after 10 wins you should just be allowed to stay in RA.

get 3 friends to enter a three way team in TA. you should be teamed up with them.

That's why GW PvP sucks, It's been repopulated by players with skills but no balls, and who need Anet to do all the work for them.

from when i play RA (not so often), and from facing (supposdly) RA teams in TA; they all seem to be full offensive only. there's hardly ever a monk or support char in the groups -- and once one leaves the rest leaves too.
however, there's still a couple of teams going to Ta after Ra (and even having success from what i heard :P).
maybe they should hand out more gladpoints for RA teams in TA? a little bit extra, takes more skill to beat coordinated teams anyways. might as well raise the reward -- i'm sure nobody would mind.

This points at still existing design flaws - that actually only exist since they came up with gladiator points.
People leave upon entering TA or have little chances versus specialized teams.
So why force entering TA after 10 wins? Just "shuffle" players again once a team member got 5 or 10 wins in a row. New team, but still a chance to continue the winning streak.

Occasionally I still get a team that will try winning in TA's but if anyone leaves than I leave to avoid what happened to the op. But I've went on to get additional glad points in the TA's before. Not sure why everyone thinks thats so impossible. It might be harder sure, but 5 wins = 3 glad points if you make it to the TA's. Its worth a shot at least.

I always move up to TA if my team doesn't quit. It's kinda fun, especially when you can come up with a few wins. Really, though, most RA teams lose pretty quick in TA. Who the hell are you that you're so busy that you don't have 10 minutes to spare?

Half the teams in TA come from RA. They like to repeatedly announce it in local chat for some reason.
