Just wondering how other people go about this...
I got "Seeker of Wisdom" on my Rt because I like the way it sounds. Now I specifically DON'T ID golds on her because I want to keep that title.
Anyone else go for titles in this way, or do most people just try to max them regardless?

Epic Delver sounds much more uhmmm... epic than legendary delver.
Bastion of the Kurzicks sounds much cooler than any others of them as well.

I have every intention on keeping Seeker of Wisdom. Since obtaining it, any gold item I come across I put in storage and I'll ID it on another character.
I would love to keep "Charmed", but I know that will never happen since I'm such a Lockpick addict.

Yeh, I did nine rings till I got "Hapless" and stopped, I like it just fine like that.
I also know that if I pass "I'm Very Important" I wouldn't turn it on until I got to "I Have Many Leatherbound Books" as it's amusing, whereas the former just looks a bit pompous.
Other than that I only bother switching on the region specific boost titles.

I just Get Some nice titles that sounds good To differend chars. I dont do like 1 char wisdom etc i iden gold with char who faind it..

I never specifically went for any titles until GW:EN came along. Before that I had gotten Vanquisher of Elona and the titles for doing all the missions, simply because I had fun doing the stuff - I would have done it anyway without titles. I got the max Sunspear and Lightbringer titles as a "bonus" while vanquishing Elona.
When GW:EN came out, I had 6 max titles, so I needed 4 more to get the Rainbow Pheonix. So, I decided to go for the skill hunter titles. Luckily, it was a lot of fun doing the skill hunter titles - the Pheonix turned out to be so big and ugly, I scrapped it for a Black Wolf.

I was trying to avoid moving up and losing Kind of a Big Deal - but since the GWEN titles provide some benefits in specific areas I may go ahead and max them and sacrifice KoaBD.

I kind of wanted to stop at "Not too Smelly". "Not too Goofy" isn't bad, though.
I stopped at Conquering Commander because I thought it sounded better than Holy Lightbringer but now they've changed it on me.

I like Pro Skillz much better than Numchuck Skillz, but I wanted the HoM statue so I went for it.
One title I'm considering not getting is Slayer of All. Pretty much any of the lower ones are better than that.

Not really a title hunter, since I started the game I had the idea of finishing cartographer and getting all the bonuses for all my characters (back before factions).....when they made it a title I said what the hey...and have worked for those, the other titles, dont really care about, however, my main monk has level 1 koabd and will get level 2 (if I can ever find that laast few pesky pixels of elona)....and he id's everything so he *might* max that one out before they turn the servers off! I like doing the ss/lb runs when I need money so I do them with a few characters who will eventually get maxed out. And with all the alcohol I got this last week I might have enough to sit for 16 days and get that one as well (now just need more sugar stuff so I can do that one at the same time).

Usually just try to max them, but the lucky/unlucky ones I just choose a title name I like and shoot for that. Was tempted by 'Not Too Smelly' as well, haha. I generally have my Skill Hunter on because it fits with my character concept.

Max titles are a waste of time (IMO >.>). The game has enough grind the way it is, without me worrying about trying to max a title.

I got the protector ones for all 3 campaigns. Most of them I just joined in when someone in the guild or alliance asked if anyone wanted to go along for whatever mission.
All of the rest of them are at various stages depending on what I've been doing. Rather than go after a specific title I just work on them randomly by doing stuff I want or helping other people. Eventually, I will get most of them that I want.
I'm primarily doing vanquisher/mapping right now.
I definitely wish you could display some of the lower rank names.

I go for maxed titles and ignore the names, however the two that sound the coolest to me are:
PvE --> " God walking amongst mere mortals"
PvP--> "Illustrious Hero"

I always liked "Pathfinder" better than "Grandmaster Cartographer".
Having been a Pathfinder, I can tell you it's a lot more exciting than a career in cartography.
Still, you can't get to Legendary Cartographer without moving on.
