Make lower rank titles available to display

Hi all,

Based on my discussion thread here:

I decided to post a suggestion. Allow us to choose the rank of a title that we wish to display, as long as it is lower than what we have achieved.

For example, If you want to max your Deldrimoor rank, but you like the sound of Epic Delver vs. Legendary Delver this would allow you to display that title even if you maxed it. Someone with Font of Wisdom could still choose to display Seeker of Wisdom etc...

This seems pretty harmless to me and it's just for fun...

If you are level 20 you can't show level 15.
If you are a warrior can't show paragon.
Things that 'are' are the things 'shown'. Why to change that?

If you are Legendary Delver you are not Epic Delver, you are Legendary Delver.

Want to show my survivor(1) title on my warrior and then start PUG'ing with a Healing Hands build
only reason I could think off the idea would be nice

Yeah, and with this change, you wouldn't have to. Isn't having a choice wonderful?

Theres a litle number beside every titled displayed. The higher it is, the better.

As long as that number stay at the rank you are, I see no problem with it.

I can't see a reason why this would hurt, but at the same time I can't see them uncoupling the "title level" and "title displayed" for something this useless to so many people.

Actually, Epic delver and Legendary Delver should be turned around.

i agree to a point, it would be sweet to have any title with epic in it, but then it wouldnt go with the anet "theme" of max titles being legendary(legendary survivor, vanquisher, guardian, cart, etc)
o and off topic, i think r9 asura should be "Not Too Epic"

It's been suggested before, and I'll /sign again because I like the idea of retroactive titles. Charmed > Lucky.

I don't understand this reasoning. No point? Maybe not for you, but obviously there is support for it in this thread which means other people have a reason for it. And the reason does not put anyone at an advantage or disadvantage, it is purely for fun, just like different armor skins. What's the point of different armor skins? They all max out at the same level anyway. Guess we should just get rid of skins and everyone can look the same. What's the point anyhow?

i would find this especially for the norn title absolute cool, because the higher ones get more and more crappier sounding...so higher you get..

When I'm maxed with the norn title..I personall<y would like to stay showing "Demon Slayer" ...at least one title rank name..that sounds from all norn ranks most coolest and can also be used good in RPG ^^

just let stay the number in () then at the max..so people can see. if someone is only the low rank..or if someone is maxed and shows only the lower rank cause of personal better likings.
