And this POS, even if it were a legit GW item, would not be added to my collection. That sword is crap by design and even a glance from the pic shows how shoddy the workmanship is on this sword and the crappy material was used to make this sword.

Half of those swords are very shoddily drawn, rendered, and constructed. I would never pay the prices the have on those things. I might buy one if i saw it in a store for five or ten bucks to fool around with, but not 100+ dollars and over ebay.

While it'd be nice if anet had more licensed products, like a pvc Cynn or maybe a replica weapon, I had a feeling this was a fake when I didn't recognize the name or see it in wiki.

I bet if the figure had the same "Easter egg" as Cynn's in-game model, Anet would make enough revenue to fix every game bug, even the most minuscule armor glitches, and fund the servers until 2027.

That sword is so ugly I wouldnt even allow Koss to swing it around. On a side note after looking at that piece of "art" I typed in Guild Wars to and came across a guy selling his account....to bad he posted his in game character names in the desription.

ALOT referring to a certain ''Gaert'' from GW...

this can't be a scam...I mean there cant be 1000 websites trying to scam with an unexisting GW sword or even a GW character...

perhaps just another name they are using for an NPC in the game?

I think is a case of one shady company making said sword, and selling it (along with its made up "sell copy") to other sword companies who don't bother to research or check up.

FACT: This is NOT a GW sword. It's not authorized by Anet, and the skin does not appear in game (well, something like it might, but not the exact skin).

"Gaert" is not a Guild Wars character, nor based on one as far as I can tell. Do another google search and see what you come up with. The only thing I could find references to it is in fan fiction.

I did a search for the art and came up blank. It's used as Avatars on Russian and French fantasy sites, but I have no idea where the original art came from. It could be fan drawn, and I believe it's based on a Final Fantasy style of art.

I tried looking up on the sword. I had Azhar Trading & Co pop up on the search. There are some items that that seem to share a similar pattern with the Gaert Sword advertising. There is a replica of three swords on the site, refering from same movie, with three submitted designs which don't seem to match each other very much except by name. I could be wrong, but it's bugging me that I can't find out it's origins.
