I came to this topic to learn some and give my opinion.. Not to get told how i need to quit gw, im the worst dervish ever and that i have "something wrong with me"

No. AoB does not require brains or skill to use. 40 armor is pointless and irrelevant - the most dangerous sources of damage ignore armor or do obscene amounts even after AoB is factored in.
That leaves your elite with a 33% speed boost - slightly useful, but at the cost of an elite that is up ~2/3 of the time, and holy damage, which is good in small parts of PvE and useless everywhere else.
The only reason to take AoB is you're too lazy to use anything else.

AoB fans, you just don't understand that GW is a team game. Even in PVE, what's the use of AoB when there is SY! spammers, wards, mass disruption from eles or rangers, and speed boost from paragons' shouts if you really need it? Seriously.
You love AoB because you always play alone. The fact is that AoB does bring nothing good in a team and I can't see a build featuring with success an AoB dervish.

Oh, why are you mentionning AoM? Did I EVER talk about it? Are you actually using AoM to explain WHY YOU USE AOB?

So it brings something to the team. AoB bring nothing to the team. Your dervish is easily countered, ant its bonus is not team based.

most crap players see the +40 armor and just fall in love. just bring [skill]conviction[/skill] if you want more armor so bad, youre most likely bringing obscene amounts of healing anyway.

Ever occur to you that you can combine the two? Plus, you can get the +3 regen without having to rely on an enchantment while still getting the benefit of armor from Balthazar.

I strongly recommend Izzy remove AoB from the game. Maybe 80% of dervs would wake up and use a good elite. Saying that they would prob just turn to AoG. Shame Izzy would never do that though. Shame.

lulz. Someone using almost ANY other elite already has an advantage over your builds. AoB is shit, always has been shit, always will be shit, and only belongs on bad players' bars. I don't care what other skills you bring, if you're bringing AoB, you've already gimped yourself by bringing one of the worst derv elites. The run speed is really inconsequential in PvE, the armor boost is unnecessary (wtb decent backline so I can concentrate on damage, you know, a derv's job?), and the holy damage is a joke (except vs undead). Even then, if you're exploiting undead, bring a smiter instead. Rest of your post can be summed up best by... ಠ_ಠ

-It makes you look cool. -AoM sucks if Wearying gets diverted. -AoM sucks if they have no conditions. -AoD sucks if they have no hexes. -AoG sucks if they have no enchantments. -AoL sucks if they have Faintheartedness, Shadow of Fear, or Meekness. -AoB has synergy with Judge's Insight. -It saves skill slots with an easy, long lasting speed boost. -I can run with it. -It synergises with a Saurian Scythe. -You don't have Pious Haste, meaning you don't strip your own enchants, allowing you to take more self defence and IAS. -It's a hard cap, so it makes people respect you. -You can run D/N with AoB, Wearying and Plague Touch so AoM sucks. -You can run D/Mo with AoB, Wearying and Mending Touch so AoM sucks. -You can run D/Mo with AoB and Veil (Mysticism synergy!!!!) so AoD sucks. -You can run D/x with Shatter Enchant, Rip Enchant, Drain Enchant, Inspired Enchant, Expunge Enchants etc so AoG sucks. -You can run a sword D/W with Savage Slash so AoL sucks.
