argh!

something really wierd happens just 2 second ago, in my game.

I was doing A land of heros to cap all the 5 elites skills for my ranger character.

After kill Commander Bahreht and caputure his You are All Alone, i pick up 2 Blue item a grim cesta and a something else, which I do not know what it is, but its blue and well just not something one normally pay attention to.

theres one more Monk elite for the pendulum skill, so I return to the cliff, to change profession get the cap sig by selling what i have pick up and then get the remainder of the gold from my storage.

so THE UN-NOTICED ITEM WAS IDENTIFY AND BECOME A GOLD TALL SHIELD. WHICH I DID NOT SEE WHEN I IDENTIFY AND CONSEQUENTLY ONLY SAW A GOLD WORDING SAYING "TALL SHIELD" WHEN I CLICK THE SELL BUTTON.

ARGHHHHH

i want to know what it is!!!

argh! how can a blue item identify into a gold item???? and no screenie to proof it either!!

AND ITS SOLD FOR MORE THEN 300G !! because i had around 400 g when I last bought the cap sig, now i have 818g.... AAAAAAAAAAA

I double clicked a scythe while trying to ID it once, then went to merch, and was .00001 seconds away from merching my caster dead sword before I noticed. But... I assume you check your offhands. Did you have a Tall Shield before?

Nope, found the drop on my chat log, its a reinforced buckler. wow, a reinforced buckler indentified into a gold tall shield O.o

your eyes were playing tricks on you; you probably had a gold item that had similar letters to tall shield or something

World of Warcraft has a merchant "buy-back" option allowing you to repurchase the last 5 to 10 items you may have sold to a vendor.

I often wish GW offered something similar, in case, when hurriedly selling off the stuff you don't want, you inadvertently sell something you had planned to keep.

Just one of the small ways WoW trumps GW, imo.
