Confused about first mission in Prophecies
Isileo
We finished the first mission in Prophecies two nights ago and we haven't gotten another one yet so I went and checked some guides for Mission 1. All of them say that when you complete mission 1 that you will end up in Fort Ranick but we didn't. It's not on anybody's map. What the heck happened?

Do it again?

Do mission 1 again? Can I get back to where I got it the first time so that I can do it again? It's not in my list anymore.

You can do a mission as many times as you would like. You don't need to go back to the original mission giver. I take it this is the Defend the Wall mission?
Just go back to where you started it and get your henchies or party and click enter mission and you can do it again. Ascalon to the entrance to the Wall mission. Once in the mission staging area you are good to go
Run like a bunny at the end and you should be at Ft Ranik when you are done. You need to be sure you run up the stairs and get the cut scene.

Ahhh, I kept looking for that "Enter Mission" button and it wasn't there. If I go back to Ascalon then I get an enter mission button. I thought that was where I completed the Great Northern Wall one but things got a little funky when we got there.
What are the numbers over peoples heads in Ascalon? There are numbers and little blue people looking things.
Dang I feel stupid.

ahh... here is an interesting question are you in nice 'ascalon city' or 'old ascalon'? missions are not in your 'list' that sounds like your quest log (L button) the storyline missions don't appear there. You'll know the difference when you get there.
The numbers indicate who party leaders are and how many are currently in their groups.

I'm post searing. I completed the first mission but didn't start the second. We went back out the way that we came in because we didn't know what was going on. Probably drunk LOL.
Thanks for answering about the numbers. I Googled it and found a good explanation about dark blue and light blue and on and on too.
If I start the second mission will all of my Ascalon quests still be available to complete? I still haven't gotten Althea's ashes the blasted char going through there are beating us to death.

Quests and missions are two deparate things. You could essentially complete the missions without doing any quests in prophecies (except a few ones like final blow, you won't get that one until you are very far in game) and still have your quests available.

You will still be able to complete all the Ascalon quests in your log, no matter how many missions you do. You can complete all the mission in all three campaigns, and if you have Althea's Ashes in your log, uncompleted, you can still do it. The quests do not become defunct because you leave the area (except in really special circumstances, like the ones in Kurzick/Luxon territories).

Thanks y'all!

the number above people's heads indicates how many people are in their group.
