You could take people to any zone in the game, even if they'd never been there. It was pretty hilarious.

While this didn't affect me that much (I sort of like the feature honestly) I want to thank Anet for;
I know a lot of people asked for this, and it seemed prudent to acknowledge this was changed.

Haven't had a chance to play the update yet, but if I can finally get rid of the name fading then it's a good update as far as I'm concerned. Though why it took so long to put on toggle...

I think I'll keep the fade on, since I actually find it useful for seeing just who's in the mob in front of me and not 1.5 aggro circles away. It's a fair trade for thinking my far away white drops are someone else's grey ones.

Yeah...thanks for the option albeit a bit late. Might want to give us the option to toggle any of the UI changes at the time they are implemented. (auto-target nearest enemy, big damage numbers comes to mind) Why must the players first start whining before such a toggle is implemented?

got pretty crazy. one thing it made droks runs extremly easy. didnt have time to do it myself.
I heard alot of people were making new characters and getting transported to imperial sanctum. Then once its done they get a free end game green. rinse and repeat.
but i beleve there was a soft update the other day which made it only lvl 20s or something.
by fixed it means no one can do it anymore. Ofcourse people who used it can still acess places

Also, I ran GW -image when I started this update and everything went thru smoothly first time thru there were 319 files to download using -image.

The whole fading thingy never was an "OMG!11! Remove or I rage!1 RAGE!11 R!1 A!11 G!!!! E!!!!"-kind of issue for me.
But today - while playing I remembered it was incorporated - and I switched it off just for the heck of it and I was reminded of how sweet the old way was!
