when does the main part of wintersday start

hi i just wanted to no what day you get the hats and will it be like every 3 hours like halloween

The hats will probably be given out on january 1st; the final day of the event.

Pretty sure last year they were given out Christmas day, but of course I can't completely remember, so don't quote me on that :P

It's January 1st. It was last year and the year before that.
