wrong 2nd prof.?
khanites
i am lvl 20 R/Rit and went with this because people were saying splinter barrage is the way to go but i have found splinter not very good since the monsters don't stick togather. Maybe a better approach would be for single creature kill quickly. This means that the better 2nd profession would be a elementalist using conjur on the bow and increasing DPS.
Any thoughts?

At some time you will gain the ability to switch secondary. For now, /Rt will be fine, at least it has hard rez and some of its rituals could be worthwhile. Conjure is overrated btw.
Utaku
Your ranger is a factions character. Just play the main quests and missions a little bit, and you'll reach Senji's Corner, where you can change your secondary.
/rit is fine for [skill]death pact signet[/skill] anyway.

[skill]broad head arrow[/skill]+[skill]brutal weapon[/skill] or [skill]nightmare weapon[/skill]
There is more to Ritualists than just splinter weapon.

Scary Raebbit
Just change it whenever you get to Senji's. Doesn't take that long. FoMF or DP Signet and you got your hard res.

I would go for flesh of my flesh not death impact signet.
Arkantos
Death pact signet owns, just don't use it in pugs. You could also use other weapon spells.
Moonlit Azure
[skill]warmonger's weapon[/skill]
[skill]wailing weapon[/skill]
Nice interrupt skills.

Why use those when Ranger already has interrupt skills that good?

combine with barrage for a half decent effect imo ^^
either way d-shot and savage should be enough still

lol you dont find splinter weapon effective?
Moonlit Azure
[skill]spirit rift[/skill]
[skill]barrage[/skill]
[skill]splinter weapon[/skill]
Also, wailing and warmonger's can be used for more interrupting. Add some Ias and put it on. But it can't beat ranger's interrupts.
[skill]magebane shot[/skill][skill]distracting shot[/skill][skill]savage shot[/skill]=win

eh Ranger isn't really built as a DPS outputter, though it can be fun to mess around with builds in PvE
using /Rt, do something like
Brutal Weapon, RtW, Prep Shot, Keen Arrow, Slot Hunters, Needling, and chuck in some interrupts for some sort of utility
or there's always Glass Arrows builds. wouldn't really bother with these other than RA/AB or PvE though, as in GvG/HA/TA you generally bring rangers for utility and if you aren't...*insert elitist comment here*

You can't see me
R/Rt is a useful combination. Stay with it.
Later try going R/Me and have some trapping fun.

When you go trapping go with a party of 4 and I go R/Mo for rebirth not archane echo dust trap.
