Some of the areas in Prophecies are random. Which means, they can be there, but they might not be. If there's say, 5 labelled spots, they can appear in those 5 different locations, they're not always there like in Nightfall or Factions.

Do the Thisrty River mission in the Crystal Desert in Prophecies. You need to kill all bosses to complete the mission. Just equip a sig cap. Usually the monk boss is saved for last in that mission, so get you finger ready to cap when he gets killed, before the cutscene hits.

Faster and easier to get it in Factions (if that is an option) in my opinion.

Or you could just leave the Ranger boss for last and kill the Monk second.
