Seems there are two new NPCs talking about procedures for a party in Kamadan, just west of Bendah and Grandfather Kringle, behind Mahk's family.

Are James and Sofie hinting at something yet to come, or are they just engaged in idle background chatter?

Edit: Two others on the opposite side of town as well, Alki and Tuhnan.

I just noticed those two as well! Well in Gaile's latest chat she told of new things coming this weekend and especially around Xmas Day...exciting

the design a weapon contest winners in my opinion. 2005 we got IDS and 2006 we got treasure....

In the previous Wintersday event's times there were pretty awesome free feature updates added, like Observer Mode (2005) or Party Search, Reconnect, Free Elonian Treasures, Festival Hat NPC (2006). This year we got only a toggle for name tag fading (yay), but can we expect something more? Some surprises? Speculations start here...

I believe Alki and Tuhnan were there last year..they were talking about family and the holiday and Tuhnan said something about how weird his family is D:

Yes, previous years we got some decent xmas updates
..this year, not so much
