Location
Outside of Lion's Arch there is a lot of Bog Skales. Easy to get to, easy to kill, and this is actually a fun I-Monk build!

Strategy
When Sheild of Absordtion aint up, Sheilding hands better be. Aggro them, make them get close to each other. Then smite hex/ SoJ away!

The skill icons are,
[skill]Skill name (case sensitive)[*/skill] , but remove the *.

Looks good, wish I had a 55 Monk, will have to have a go on my Mesmer.

If you do, try completing it first(takes 5 minutes at most, and you can 55 it easy), or just abandon it and see if the skales show up.

im having the same problem they arnt there, ive done what lies beneth but i do hav some other quests in eye wich i cant close such as against the destroyers its weird lol.

just tried on my warrior there not there hes been eotn so it must be chars who hav been eye it gets rid of the spawn how strange.

Nice build, i thought SS was armour ignoring and would damage through prot spirit, but evidently im wrong!

Ill probably try this tomorrow.

I'm having the same problem too, no scales. Can someone please have a definitive answer for this, because I already abandoned all the primary and EOTN quests on my monk and still nothing. Thanks in advance!

allright... apparently i will never be able to do this farm... :S
theres the crevasse thing... i guess thats the reason why they wont spawn... and
because i already did the "hole of istan" quest i cant complete this one.

I used to do this farm ages ago when I was collecting scales for my rangers armor. Used a typical 55 setup, however.....

Once EOTN came out and that quest was added a large number of the scales were eliminated, nothing Ive done has brought the number up to pre EOTN size.

I just checked yesterday, i see pleanty of scales. Could be "Reversing The Skales"

Once your character enters eye of the north that mob disappears. However, there's another mob further north in the swamp that you could kill.

When you do What Lies Beneath the primary quest which can't be abandoned the scales won't be there.They are moved more in the peat bog to the N/E alas you could do it outside of The Gates of Kryta beware of the mergoyles though as well there is the mission.The mission seems to be popular to farm the undead.

Yeah the skale vanish after you do what lies beneath, and whilst there is a large group to the North East, they were also there BEFORE completing that quest. Basically, the quest halves the runs profit sort of >.>

I was told sometime ago that when in doubt leave the comma out.It has been sometime since I stepped into an English class thank goodness I am not being graded on this.I rely on MSWord to point out my mistakes.
