Since more than 1 person can draw at the same time, there could still be problems with the color coding/icon ideas. Best way to avoid this is to play with people you know (guild/alliance/friends list) or hero/hench. I don't see it as a game breaking problem, and don't think it would do anything but cause delays on things we need.

Sure exists group play in GW..but it is and will never be bigger than the part of the community ,which prefers to play GW mostly only whenever they can solo or H/H-Solo...just to avoid problems with leavers..premature kiddies and total noobs, which have no clue about what they are doing..like mending kamikaze wammos ....
When 7 heroes will exist..group play will not die...like it didn't with 3 heroes only ... people which want to pug..will so further, even when anet gives us 7 heroes ...
but those people..which are annoyed of the stupidity of henchs and their too weak and very often disadvantaging AI's and Skill Bars, their non ability to be flagged intelligently and single...
Why do we still need dumb unpractical henchmans..when Anet implements the better version of a henchmen in form of heroes into the game ...
That is like as if you deck a plate for dinner and instead of a knife and a fork someone gives you 2 forks ...
henchs are simple not needed anymore....also it makes absolutely no sense to implement into a game 25 different heroes..when you can use then in your party only 3 of them .... thats simple stupid and not well thought out.
Giving the player 7 heroes would give the player also the possibility to play better and with more tactical thoughts ...also the player could make itself more thought about "group builds" what its the most interesting part of giving us 7 heroes...beign able to try to build up group builds with a good synergy...
as long 7 heroes are pve only..it should be absolutely ok....asie the hero battles.. are heroes so or so mostly only a pve part of concent...for pvp there isn#t even a place for 7 heroes..so what should this whole stuff of complaing versus this improvement of the hero system...
when the group play of GW would really die, when they give us 7 heroes.. then only cause of anet making pug way not interestign enough, or cause of the mentality of players and the system...that punishes a party with mostly non success. when someone leaves or receives a disconnect and can#t reconnect ...
When parties would receive npc clones of the characters. which leaved or got irreconnectable dc'ed...such people surely would't complain about the idea of giving the game 7 heroes instead of 3 ...
The argument of searching simple someone other and playing with 6 heroes is no argument at all....its just 2 players and 6 heroes, but each player controls only its own 3 heroes and when player 2 leaves..then your only 7 and still control only your own 3 heroes ..the other 3 become then 3 stupid henchs...
and with that said i can go play direct again fully with H/H , be then 8 and have too my 4 dumb henchs...
let us face the truth ...anet is just too lazy to make now this change, cause
1. they are working mostly only on GW2 ...
and
2. they fear that much players will leave GW..because of the massive whines about those no sayers.. which fear...gw's group play will die, if they give us 7 heroes ....
asnd that being that... all this stuff of those no sayers is so extreme small minded..so say something will die... when the suggested thing doesn't got even TESTED....
only if Anet tests it.. they and especially WE will really see..what will happen to the community and if somethign really will change to the group play of GW and if PUG's will really die out.
Thats again as if for example... nobody would know now yet...that 1+1 is 2 , but then comes someone and says..without having checked and tested first.. 1+1 is 5...
Then its imo normal.. or?, that the ones, which believe in 1+1 is 2... that won't believe the one which says 1+1 is 5..until he proves it through a test
thats the sad thing about Anet.. you need only to whine here or on other elite forums about stuff here loud and long enough about things what you think what will happen..and anet does nothing ...nor do we see anywhere....what suggestions or so is Anet anyhow testing on test servers...if those suggested things maybe points for later implementation ... or not with statements.. which show us the results of these tests and on which problems they maybe have met, which they can't solve to make it possible for implementaton maybe...
