What was the dumbest thing you did as a noob?

Probably for me, was buying 2 gold bows for my ele, customizing them and then realizing (much later on) that eles do not make very good bowmen.

I drove a car into a house cuz I was drunk. It was a long time ago.

Ohhhh, in Guild Wars, when first playing ritualists I had a bad habit of using genorous was tsungrai when I was really low on health and killing myself.

When i first started playing i loaded up my old ele with PBAoE earth and fire spells and charged into mobs thinking they'd die quickly. Wasn't them that died quickly

I FFF a lot. I mean, i spent the majority of my newbie days fffing... a lot. I feel so stupid for letting those selfish guilds take advantage of me. What did I get out of it? Nothing. I wasn't doing elite missions then even though we owned urgoz, and I sure as hell wasn't spending my money on discounted keys...

Bought a non-max FDS for 5k because we though it was leet.

Got some black dye in pre and used it on my starting armor. It looked retarded, and I slapped myself once I got to post and learned of the magical NPC called the "Dye Trader". Black dye was like 9k at the time too, that seemed like a fortune!

I made a necro, and used marksmanship and wilderness survival...

Its acctually got a funny story to it this pic, the guy whose name i coverd offerd me a run to ascalon from yaks bend for some crappy shield i had, not soon after this screen he left xD. I said id report him and he came crawing back with the shield.

In GW, deleting my 15K Gladiator Armor one week before the Xunlai Storage Upgrade. That was my first 15K Armor Set.

When I first played, I was the most rootin-tooting-flare-spamming-shield-wielding-aggro-gaining-ele in all of Ascalon!

Eh, I leeched a few missions, think I left in the middle of a mission to get a haircut... lol. Those were the days.

I deleted my 15k Gladiator set, my first elite armor set as well. Two months later they tell me about the Hall of Monuments...

Deleted my warrior because i did not know i could change my secondary profession (He was W/N with soul feast and bone minions haha). He was level 20 and had 15k glad/platemail mix armor, so i remade him into a W/Mo. This was so long ago though, and i had played him for a few months before i deleted him. Bawww.

On the contrast, the smartest thing i ever did while i was a noob was not join experienced groups, and infect everyone else my ignorance and cause them grief over it. Rather, i learned before i went and noobed some group's team up and ruining it.

When I first joined, after 20minutes i was yelling in Kamadan "HOW DO I SAVE!!!!! I HAVE TO GET OFF NOW AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO SAVE!!!!! PAYING 5g FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN TELL ME HOW TO SAVE!!!!!"

Using my friends account. Makeing numerous Lvl 20 characters only to have them deleted, and everything taken away...several times :P

Back in my noob days I tried to sell a gold bow that was FAR from max, with the crappiest stats ever. Then wondered why people were laughing at me. I mean...it was GOLD!

I was a pro W/E flare spammer. At least I thought I was...

Another time my friend gave me money for monk tatoos after running my level 6 monk to droks. I went to buy parchments from another player. He had 2.2k worth, so I entered the money and traded. About 3 minutes later, I noticed I traded 22k instead of 2.2k. I haven't traded laste at night ever again.
