What was the dumbest thing you did as a noob?

My first character was a warrior, and i was killing everything in pre ascalon, wasn't doing any quests and wondering why i lvl so slow. Day after I made and elementalist, left the pre ascalon on lvl 4 and continued with plot by my ele using empathy and chaos storm as my main damaging skills. Also I weren't using any henchmans, i remember how i was happy when i managed to kill a group of lvl 3 grawls who had 2 monks 
Anyway i made a necromancer, reached the lvl 20 and deleted her because i tought she was ugly :/ Then i realised i have to go thru everything again. Then, another necromancer, mm wanna be,i wondered why other mms always have energy for their minions,and then i noticed soul reaping. Oh,and buying FDS for 4k, about 10-20 damage and thinking I'm pro. Good old days, i wanna go back ;(

I still have my old warrior's 15k sets in storage. It took me three sets to decide on primeval. I did, however, destroy my ranger's old armor, which was not a good idea, as I could have used it for an alternate build.

I was never a "Noob" a Noob is a complete idiot who never learns and just wants to piss people off. A "Newb" or "Newbie" however (Which means your New to something), well i missed the Festival Hats for Halloween and Wintersday 2005 because i didn't know what day they gave the hats and also i didn't think Halloween would give anyone hats since it's not a big holiday.

my stupidest thing when i was noob was... i created a ranger/necro for beign MM with him... after some time i gave up(not enough energy^^), changed to blood magic and ppl were still laughing at me^^ and it took me a while before i realized why:P

Back before I had mastered the chat channels, I thought the trade channel was actually the PM channel. So when I first zoned into presear I saw all these "pm's" of people trying to sell me stuff. So naturally I started pming (literally) them back saying "no! i won't buy your crap! stop whispering me!". I probably confused a ton of people.
When Factions came out and they speeded up the leveling process I found it weird that I was already in the same area as the level 20s. There were too many of them to be "perma pre" characters so I deleted my level 12 assassin (who was actually on his way to earning survivor, which I didn't know was such a big deal) and remade him. Then I learned that level 20s could come back to the newbie area in Factions whenever they wanted.
Also had a bunch of monk superior runes back when they were worth a ton of money and sold them to the rune trader for cash. After getting about 150-200k, me and a friend start a guild and buy a guild hall that cost around 125k. The guild fell through by the end of the month.
I think I went through about half the game on my ranger speccing in marksmanship, beast mastery, and healing prayers bringing Power Shot, Penetrating attack, healing breeze (which was [b]way[b] better than troll because I can cast it on other people!) orison of healing, charm animal, comfort animal, and resurrect. Didn't even KNOW about expertise and didn't use druid's armor. This was, btw, waaaay before insignias ever existed.
However, I will say that I was fortunate enough to have my friend tell me about black dyes before I found one

Well, I recall being asked to bring my own e-mngment on my original character AMD ZEN (long since deleted Ele I had), and I didn't know about attunements. I brought Mantra of Recall, my only elite. LOL. /FAIL!

I salvaged my 15K judge's set for runes to get some money to get the -50 offhand not knowing how easy and cheap it was to get >.>
After that I made back my money and got 15K saintly which I use rarely.

I though that pre-Searing was all that Guild Wars had.
I was quite happy with just pre-Searing. by the way.
But that was only during the first week.
Then I walked into Old Ascalon... and deleted the character and made another one in pre-Searing, XDDDD.
The impact of looking at such a horrible landscape was too much, XD.

i logged onto Guru, and read a thread where JR said healing breeze was bad. i logged into the game, promptly took healing breeze off of my presearing monk/warrior, went into the catacombs, and died repeatedly.
my conclusion at the time: JR doesn't know what he's talking about.

Well when i was a newbie (as a ele) i said ''omg i wanna dominate the 4 elements yay!!'' so whidout thinking i put stats on fire, water, air and eath but i didn't put any point to energy storage.
So then doing some missions with henchies i wondered why did i always made so little damage and my energy got out very fast.
And also i didnt know that i could change my attibutes how ever i wanted so i though that i permanently screwed it up and it was gonna be imposible to advance until i bought factions and created a character there, did the tutorial and when i saw that attribute thing... omg...

Example:

I realized that i could actually identify items and salvage stuff, when i was playing Hells Precipice! (Was long into the game there ^^)
I thought all along that unidentified just meant that it was úber cool and rare!

Not getting a run to Lions arch was probably the dumbest thing.
I could never get out of the shiver peaks, it was like a maze I always ended up in circles and when I did get somewhere, I had to log out...forgot where I went and went in circles all over again.
Not to mention putting the skills
Animate minions, charm animal, animate vampiric horror, vampiric gaze, debilitating shot whirling defense and ressurection signet on my bar >.>

When we got to Yak's Bend we never noticed that from there on out the party size went up to 6, so up until Lion's Arch we just kept using Little Thom and Alesia and we kept wondering why all of a sudden the game had gotten so dang hard, I mean really...took us ages to get to LA
