so why not add a few things to give greater control like formations.
these are just ideas, the names are just a brief description.
As in Huddle: Your team groups around the human that controls them (in Ward/Shout Radius ) incase they come under attack from a bad pull,an unlucky mob patrol or jsut to be more defensive.
Spreading out: If under heavy attack form casters (Searing flames/savannah Heatt and the likes) it spreads the team out evenly spaced.
yes you could use flagging but then you can only flag your 3 heros and 4 henchmen are part of the 4th flag, if you henchmen consist of the healers/backline/power then an AoE here is shocking.
Also what about obsideon armor for heros, as in the fow chest has a 10% chance of dropping it or somthing like that?

Be great to see the AI improved. They currently cant handle AoE, wards and such. Having a system to make them spread out or clump up would be very useful.
And of course they can add 7 heroes while they do it.

id like some kind of spread out button because they get eaten by aoe atm and a "dont try to use your excuse for kiting and aggro half the map button". i.e hold still button

aye, just woundering would it have a negative effect somehow,
only thing i can think of is that some peopel will say it'll make the game easier,
all it will do is that it would allow a player t oorder there party succesfully without monks moving and agro buble away from its flag.
Maybe also a "Static Stance" that would be that the party would not move unless individaully flagged, once flagged they wil not move from position. think it was mentioned by one of the above^^

Lovely idea, but Anet will never do it. They grudgingly allow soloing, but it's more than clear that, like a kindergarten teacher, they really want us to play together and be nice. They have to allow it because they wouldn't have a game without it, and on some level they understand that, but they still think of it as something less than the vaunted "team play" the game is nominally designed for.

The movement command of this skill should have been made a kind of command for heroes/henches from the start. The spread out idea could be similarly added.

I've been wanting this for a long time. The heroes and henchmen surrounded you, go ahead of you, or go behind you. I'm tired of my heroes and henchmen luring unwanted attention because they're stuck ahead of me.
