New ways to grind EotN titles
Lawliet Kira
Hey guys, i need lots of help, i know i know complete HM books, but is there any other way because the HM books are too hard for me to complete on my own.
If you could, leave some suggestions f or the 4 rep titles

If you want to do it faster, only do the three easiest HM quests and turn in the books for points, you can get 6000 points per hour compared to doing all the quests (some of the more difficult might take an hour) which get you 30,000 points. Otherwise snowman dungeon, and clearing some of the easier maps.

Just this week I managed to max all 5 titles in GWEotN. Only three quests I didn't h/h. Destruction depths in HM (I did with a friend), Duncan dungeon in HM (I pugged, the other 4 slavers' exile quest I did in NM) and Murakai dungeon where I used a runner.
I always brought candy canes specially rainbow ccs and honeycombs for the sweet tooth title and restoring dps of h/h. Also consumables were part of my staple though I only used them in hard dungeons. I have played GWEotN quite often with my ele so I knew which dungeons were tough for me and I saved those for last.
Before 80k I used NM hero and dungeon handbooks. I submitted NM handbooks just before reaching 80k in rep points (that will get you close to 100k).
After that I gathered all the points in HM by:
-vanquishing all areas (gathering 99 points in cartography in the process),
-completing all HM hero handbook quests at least once (*see below)
-I planned to do all HM dungeons once (would have netted me 60k in rep points thus abling to max one title). In the end I didn't need to do Shard of Orr dungeon.
I thought the Asuran and Vanquard would be the hardest to max so I chose to max Vanquard first (I wanted to get all charr skills + rep title bonus for prophecies quests)and left the Asuran track for last.
For the dwarven track I intended to wait until I did all the dungeons (beacon of droknar gives dwarven points) and see how close I got to max it. I planned to max it by repeating snowmen dungeon quest over and over but I got bored after like 10 runs so the rest I got by turning in HM hero handbook quests.
For the Norn track I wanted to farm with Path of the Revelations quest. But in the end after just 3 runs I opted to max the rest of the title by turning over hero handbooks in HM.
*hero handbook in HM:
I did all quests at least once which would give 30k rep points. After that depending on how many points I needed I would turn in 15 pages (thats 22.5k rep points) or less. I only play h/h and doing destruction depths takes too long imo.
-easiest quest is A time for heroes (pain inverter is the key skill) around 4-5 mins.
-takes less than 10 min each time, sometimes much faster:
Curse of the Nornbear, Genius Operated Living Enchanted Manifestation, , Against the Charr (to finish it faster you might want to only do the optionals near the charr camp) , Assault on the Stronghold (get the siege devourers and then let your team get killed near the archers. That will rez your team inside the fort. Kill the charr group inside the fort. Voila),
Around 20- 30 minutes:
-Blood Washes Blood (take the bear elite skill. Start from longeyes ledge. Go straight to Jora's family homestead and kill the Charr inside), Finding the Bloodstone, The Elusive Golemancer.
The next quests will take around 30-45 mins
-A Gate Too Far, Warband of Brothers
If you have some time (a run takes between 30 mins and 1 hour. Mostly around 1 hour), and just want to farm gold + items the easy way try Using a runner for the Murakai dungeon. This will get you some points in dwarven and 300 points in Vanquard each run.
But the fastest way imo is by turning in HM hero handbooks.
Happy Holidays and HF.

for me, the easier were "hunting charr" or something like that, the first one of the vanguard, next is "a gate too far" and last and easiest "The nornbear".
wetsparks
hunting charr and missing vanguard are the same one, a gate to far was easy also, but it took a bit longer than the other three along with norn bear.
Vinraith
I find the three easiest and fastest by far to be G.O.L.E.M., Norn Bear, and Time for Heroes (the fastest and easiest of the pile).

From my experience at filling HM Hero books (and maxing all rep titles) I can say that filling whole is better. I do all missions in 4 hours and get 30k rep (7.5k/h), which is better than 6k/h, and since I dont repeat the same missions its not as boring. All were done h/h, and once in a while i can take on a guild friend to help them out.
TBH sometimes with ppl I go slower, since they dont know exactly what to do and when, but that comes with experience. After about 10+ full mission runs (HM and NM, NM being even faster, but i never timed that) everyone will know exactly what to do.

Tip for Gate Too Far which gets it to around 17 minutes for me (in HM):
The second level can be completely skipped by edge-scraping past the vaettirs. You need to do a little experimenting with avoiding some spawns, but I average 90 seconds for lvl 2.

Just curious which hero/hench setups do you use to quickly do all the hm quests? Just a general sabs build or anything special?
{IceFire}
Sabway+2monk hench+zho/cynn+herta for me..

I'd pretty much agree. Just do those over and over.

What are you builds for a time for heros? I hench it all the time with a restoration rit, two hero monks running WoH hybrid, two hench monks, zho, and herta with myself as a utility air with pain inverter. I die about 4/5 times!
Nightow
Bring a Air spiker, a blood/degen necro and another ele with Ward of stability and Ward against Harm. Make sure to cast PI on the boss b4 your hero has a chance to interupt. You should bring party wide heals along with condition removal like MBaS or Recovery to lessen the durration of burning and Recuperation to lessen the degen. For hench, use the 2 monk hench, interupt hench and w/e else.
MercenaryKnight
I know it isn't hero/hench. But imo it does help a lot to grab a bunch of people with breath of the great dwarf. Having even 2 people with it helps the party wide healing a lot. And you don't really need much damage besides pain inverter.

Sab. Lina, Talon, Zho, herta. You and sab on oneside, preferably with blinding on someone, and the henchies on the other. works really well. I can do it in 15 minutes.

I actually thought the first part of G.O.L.E.M. was a pushover, even in HM. I just bounced back and forth between the kilns with a full party- moving quickly after killing the destroyer pairs never left a kiln with any less than 3/4 health, they rarely get that low. I use SS/IP/PI and a MM hero.

Before you go to the kilns and activate the quest, go around them and kill all the destroyers hanging out.

Sorry for slight thread necro, but what is the optimal H-H setup for doing HM A Time for Heroes? Is it 3 touch rangers?
Darth Marth
Sorry if this is a bad querstion, but why do you only have to do the 3 easiest? Don't you need at least a half-completed (8+ entries) handbook to get any reputation?
