Festival Event Quest - Save the Reindeer

I've gotten to the point where I have to meet the Frost Maiden at Mehtani Keys. When I get to the gate that blocks access to the portal onto the islands, south of Cliffs of Dohjok and Champions Dawn, the gate is closed and the guard won't let me in. How do I get to Mehtani Keys to complete the quest?

To get into that area, you will have to get a little futher into the storyline. The route to Mehtani Keys opens up after you complete mission 2 (Jokanur Diggings).

I take it you have no done any of the previous quests in the game for that area then ? you will need to do those first to gain access.

I think you need 300 Sunspear Promotion points for it to open up.
