make a new armor for ppl with all 4 games

I think anet should make 1 new armor for each proffession for poeple that all 4 games, i mean like a really nice armor better than FoW

I wish the GW:EN armor hadn't been such a monumental disappointment too, but I seriously doubt we'll see more.

Which is a damn shame, because there's so little variety in sin, paragon, and derv armor.

I think an opposite armor of fow would kinda cool.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind new armor, but it'll probably end up as a reskin. Now if it's a nice reskin of a good armor I wouldn't mind much.

Obsidian looks great to different people, such as I enjoy my warrior's armor to the fullest extent. I think it looks very sexy on her.

i would find it simple good, if they would make for all the other body parts also Magma/ Chaos/ Earthen/ Icy counterparts... then only the gloves..to make out of these gloves only atm full armor sets


otherwise id love to see finally a really special armro for each class. that's somehow "animated" ..why should only weapons be animated..when armors can also ... with shining aura effects or other cool looking effects that let the character let look epic and powerful...like a real ascendant being

First: Too many people would QQ because they don't own all the games and "that's not fair".

Second: It would have to be easily obtainable or people would QQ about "more grinding just for armor".

But, I'm in favor of the idea.

I wouldn't mind more cross-campaign stuff like the Black Moa Chick, but to make it so account-bound in the form of an armor, nah :x
The furthest I'd like to see it go would be weapons that you can obtain from collectors who ask for items that drop across all 4 games. Maybe make 4 different collectors, 1 per game, all asking for the same, but giving some special gloves (though it's an armor piece again...)

And ANOTHER minipet would just anger quite a few people. Dunno.

How about add a crafter of armor in UW and put a new set there? You could have a more ethereal set to counter the huge forged set of FoW.

But yeah, it isn't going to happen; just updates till GW2, unless you want another bad re-skin.

Obsidian is just too common...

because the game is still unfinished..when GW2 comes.. there is so much..that could even still be improved in GW1 ...but won't happen atm only..because most devs are working on GW2 ...


that doesn't mean..that dev's won't have any time anymore after the release of GW2 to implement with further add ons new content and to improve the crap out of GW1...which can be improved ...


stuff like implementing a Stylist NPC .... making the tyria World map again to a nice full world map without such 2 uber ugly black stripes on the sides..
maybe increasing the explorable areas again a bit for that or give us a total new world map..that shows us finally the whole complete world, once anet has decided..if this 3 continents should be really ALL..or if the world of GW will receive hopefully more ...6 are needed to have an earth similar world

or improve finally more the Hall of Monuments.. that feature could have easily like 10 more monuments+..theoretically could give anet us 1 eye for every celestial direction of North...South,West and East with 5 monuments per eye..all eyes being connected to each other somehow for example as gate to the heaven, when all 4 are connected to each other.

there are so much thigns.. that need still fixes.. and improvements... pet storage..easily solveable through an improvement of the HoM...

Armor Storage..solveable in the same way..how pet storage would be solved...through HoM... then need finally to become certain things stackable..like runes and insignias... or upgrades..as long they have the same strength....

the classes could be all improved..ya maybe even some new implemented..there are still so much weapon types ingame missing and gameplay features..like dual weapon weilding.... combo attacks, group attacks..such are gameplay features which are really missing ...
Weapons like Lances/Halberds, 2H Swords/Axes, Morningstars, Claws/ weaponless fighting, Battle Staffs, Nunchakus, ect. such things are really missing in GW and would be great weapons for more professions...or improve the existing classes...by giving all classes more attributes or rename certain weapon mastery..so that they can hold more than 1 kind of a weapon ...

Sword Mastery, Axe Mastery could be for example just renamed to "One Hand Mastery" and thus simple contains then all 1H Weapons...
or rename it to "Arts of War"...thus having a name for an attribute...which can contain many different weapons..because the name of the attribute doesn't tell...if only 1 kind of a weapon is mastered with this attribute..or more

minipets could receive a better meaning through a improvement..and when its only being able to name our minipets like ranger pets...but most awesome would be...when every monster in GW could drop its Mini-Version and then players could play with minipets somethign similar to pokemon XD rofl

Polymock is dumb ...and could also receive an improvement ...like making it finally able to play also in pvp ... and let the pve version give a player gamer points..when u win....

roller beetle racing could become to an awesome permantly minigame..if anet would just create more race tracks for it...having only 1 race track makes the whole thing very quic extreme boring....with like 18 trakcs all over the world of tyria could be racing pvp be made. in form of world championships....

Alliance battles could be improves. give us more alliances..not only 2 ...and more alliance battle grounds..then just only 2 too....having so less made factions extreme quick boring....because people started very quick to play just only fort aspenwood..because it was the only one of the 2 battle grounds..which made most fun...jade stuff is just boring as hell

Sure i could post morte examples....but this should give you only a small taste of what I mean...that GW1 is by far not "finished" ...
A game is finished...when it has reached "perfection" or at least nearly .... so far technology allows it....
GW1 is far away from being "perfect" ..there are too much things left.. which could be made better..even with the engine and the technology of GW1...


GW2 shouldn't be based on a prequel....which plays and looks..as if the game has used only like 75% of it's real inner potential before...

I definitely agree that a new suit of elite armor for each profession would be nice, but forcing people that want it to get the games they're missing ain't cool. Chances are that that will piss off more people than it will satisfy.

If I were you, I wouldn't hope, dream, or expect very much new content from GW. There is only a skeleton crew still working on it, mostly doing skill balancing kinds of things, or fixing reported glitches. Thus only 2 new activities for Wintersday, and the weekly recycling of previous events. GW:EN is intended as a time consumer... to keep us busy maxing out titles and building our HoM, repeating stuff over and over to accumulate a collection of destroyer weapons etc. while the dev's pour heart and soul into GW2. The idea that we are going to get any new content at all in GW is pretty much a pipe dream imo.

As a more feasible compromise, I'd like to see a "free trade zone" added that is only accessible if you have more than 1 campaign. This zone would have end-game equivalent skill trainers w/ a full regular skill list from all campaigns you own, as well as armor crafters w/ all non-restricted armor sets, (for instance, you couldn't get FoW armor or the armor you can only get after beating Shiro, etc). It'd allow for 1 place w/ all the skills and armor sets you have access to by owning all the campaigns. You can limit it to only allowing characters that are ascended/closer to the stars/have unlocked the skill trainer at the command post as needed. This would, if nothing else, allow us to conveniently mix armor sets from the different campaigns. Another possibility would be to allow us to have the armor come pre-dyed at a color of our choosing, for a small added fee (that may be *too good* though).
