Character Select and Freezing

I have two issues I would like to discuss.

Whenever I exit to the Character Select screen, there Is some sort of small chance this will happen to my character select screen:



It can be fixed with the simple logout button but It's just plain annoying.

And yes, the freezing. There Is a high chance that whenever I ALT+TAB out of the game and ALT+TAB back, It will cause my computer to completely lock up and I have to power It down. Sometimes this happens even when I exit Guild Wars. Any clues?

I assume you use the switch characters option when this occurs, not log out option? I remember hearing lots of issues with that option, that could be the cause. It probably is just a bug that has not yet been fixed.

I use the switch character option as well (logging out doesn't seem logical) and this has also happened to me a few times recently.

I don't log out of my account to switch characters.
