I got EotN and the prerealease pack came with it, and i also got a nice, pretty, brand new graphics card. A Radeon HD 2400 pro, yeah, not the best but a huge improvement from my geforce2 mx 200. but... i feel like a retard, my parents asked me if the one they got me (this was thanksgiving when they asked me) will work with my computer, i said yeah, being the confedint genious i thought i was, and said yeah, cause my computer has a pci-e x16 slot.
this morning i opened up my present with glee, and went downstairs to install my graphics card, pulled out my crappy one, and attempted to put in my gpu, "It wont fit! i said" and to my horror, i realised, i did not have a PCIE slot, i had a AGP, so we are going to try to get a return and buy a new one from newegg.
live and learn i say, this time though, i wont make the mistake of getting the wrong interface for my card.
