God's Favor, Shut up already!!!!

Ok it's not too far from sight until gw2 emerges, now let's see. Do I really care if some loser recieved the favor of the god's because he stayed up all night to max out his sunspear commander points? Of course not!!! Do I care if someone lazy did it over 3 months and did it just to see their name put up on everyone's freakin chat screen? Heck no!!! Why not have this the same way with emotes, if some guy wants to know which person/country has the favor of the gods then let them have that and leave me outta it. I'm an Ab fighter so I need to pay more attention to my team then I do to who just maxed out a title I don't care about.

Put simply without the constant ranting, make it so that we have a choice whether or not to get these stupid God's Favor messages every 5-10 minutes.

i like seeing people get good titles (legendary defender of ascalon, survivor, drunkard)

when I'm in the middle of an Ab and my teammates have to keep resending me which base they're at because their message gets pushed off the screen? Yes it is really that bad, no I can't just ignore it when it's pushing important chat off the screen, and I couldn't care less about your opinion of my signature either...basically downing all three of your points in one go (and now I've done as near a good deed as I'll do all day)

So people are getting titles so fast that it pushes your chat off the screen? By any chance are you playing a different version of gw to me? Because I don't ever get that problem whilst playing AB, or anywhere in the game for that fact.

If you really care that much about AB, use voice communication.

if it's realy that important, use ventrilo, or pay decent attention to chat so you won't miss any information. It's not like AB requires you to focus 100% on what's going on on the battlefield ...

however, a toggle option would be nice, or just consider it an emoticon and file it under that toggle option ...

Not that big but.....

I say just make a 'system' chat channel and give us the option of turning it on or off. The only other thing I'd add would be to make a note when you log in or zone that notifies you that the system chat is off, (so you don't miss important stuff).

Have people really gotten so bored of the game that they're complaining about text coming onto their screen?

In AB the text is probably not getting pushed off because of the people getting titles, its because:

That is what pushes your oh-so-important text away during the AB matches.

Since when did they announce when someone maxed a title in AB? It is only supposed to happen in the three towns where you can enter FoW/UW and Kamadan, Kaineng, and Lions Arch.

I was wondering the same thing. Maxed titles don't show in AB. In an AB, you only see the text for winning/losing favor, and how often is that, really? Once or twice an hour? A lot of whining over nothing.

How can someone be this annoyed over such a little thing.

erm... don't these messages only spawn in the major towns? As far as the favor gained or lost goes, that's 2 lines max, only once at least every couple of hours.

Question to the OP: Is this for real or are you just trying to get a free +1?

I petition for a close since this is, I believe, totally BS by the OP. Maxed titles don't show in AB and gaining and losing favor happens relatively rarely.

Senseless, angry rants are no fun. I see no reason for this to stay open, as it has little ability to draw reasonable discussion.
