If you're dead, you don't get any experience... and I'm pretty sure that goes for blessings as well. Not sure about the pet questions, only played my ranger for a short time.

1. Dead pets still gain experience. One way people level them is Desolation Junundu farming. You won't get Dire this way; probably Hearty, or Elder. Unsure about "avoid combat," as I never have leveled a pet normally. I just exploit to level, ie: deathlevel before charming, charming 15-20 level pets, or leveling the pet while it's dead.

2. Yes.
3. From Wiki, never tried myself. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Poisonous_Bite

"Notes
Poison length modifiers do not affect this skill."
It's an easy test in Isle of Nameless: eguip Poisonous weapon, set Beastmastery so Poisonous Bite duration is a multiple of 3, and test poison length with and without weapon.
4. No idea. I can't imagine you'd get points while you're dead, though.

A dead player will continue to get norn/asura/etc reputation points, as long as the party keeps killing, or so I've heard.

Not that I've personally ever experienced that

Yes. My guild has helped each other raise rep points by farming areas with a leeching guildmate. The leecher doesn't do anything other than talk to the shrine, and can then stand aside, or go die, and still receive points. Works with all blessings, EoTN and NF. I'd assume it'll work with the Luxon/Kurzick blessing in Factions as well, but haven't tested that one myself yet.

3. It doesn't really matter. Poisonous Bite is low energy cost, and it recharges sooner than it ends, so it's spammable IF you need it to be.

hm i heard that as dead u cant have blessing, just reputation... anyway me and many guys i think dont understand how work the reputation... for example we get a random bonus at every 25 kills, that is clear, right? but i dont got what is hapening when we speak with the NPC guy at shrine and if we must kill many before speak with him. I saw one guy in a "hm norn hunt with the quest with Facets" who didnt speak with shrines but at a point he go back to speak with all

This link should tell you everything you want to know about Reputation Points:

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Eye_of_...ation_bounties

Basically you wait to talk to the NPCs at the shrines until after you've done quite a bit of killing to get as many points as possible.

This is why I don't wait to talk to the NPC once I've hit 50 kills. I want to up my rank as quickly as possible. And it's been my experience that the NPCs provide a rank increase often enough it's worth not waiting.

Yep. That's the conclusion that I've come to as well. I should have been more clear. I was just trying to explain to the OP why he saw people doing that. It's definitely better to get your hunt rank up as fast as possible. It's worth the risk that you may get less than max bonus points from the NPC.
