how many lvl are there, what are the names, how to lvl it up.

The titles change as post count increases. There are many different titles to accommodate the fact that some users have been posting longer than others and so have a high post count. (or are big on the 1 liner +1 type replies lol)

Agreed. I find many people with the higher titles really don't know what they're talking about. Too much time on the forums trying to boost their 11 year old ego versus spent in game IMO.

Personally, I like the forums where you can just add a title under your name, and postcount isn't on your bar.

Back on the old Everquest 2 forums the titles started getting funny.
The main forum moderator had a habit of having fun with some people. He even would change their title's colour to ugly pea green, pink and brown.
When the new forums came it looked like people could make their own title, because forums members who'd been around and participated in discussions since Beta have titles unique to their own fansites.

Posts you make there don't count for your overall count. Try it. (Unless they changed it from the last time I tried it, which was about a week ago.)

Yeah but for some people, it means Glory and Prestige. (trust me, i know people like that)

Anyone who has ever run/moderated a forum will be familiar with the sad phenomenon called "spamming for rank"

It was like that on the EQ2 forums too.
I remember when I finally got max title there I started the blue vs. purple war. That was the colour of titles for max and just under max.
I made enemies that day. Lot's of people hated me for putting any kind of importance on it. So I apologized and never did it again. It's like a feeling of pride. Very dumb I know.
