not entirely true.. say.. u are starting a new character, and you wanted some skills from another campign (say SoA on your monk when u started on prophecies). what can u do? either wait till u get to LA, or... buy a monk tome :P

warrior tomes are the easiest to farm by far and i have never seen any of my W elite tomes to go for more then 3k, only in the first week after release of HM

Sold elite ranger for 6k

I gotta post here again to disagree. I've gotten 6 or 7 elite rit tomes and gotten offers ranging from 10k to 16k. No one has even offered below 10k, seemingly because they know that a lot of people won't sell below that. I also see "WTB Elite Ele Tome 10k" all the time in major cities (I mostly trade in Kamadan). Exact same thing for elite necro. I see WTBs for elite necro for 10k nearly every time I'm in Kamadan for more than about 10 minutes.
And yeah, elite warriors are cheaper, but I still have no trouble selling them for at least 5k.

Sold a ranger tome for 5 candy cane shards. Considering that shards are generally sold to the tune of 100g apiece, I'd say I got a good deal.

So, regular ranger tome, ~500g.

Rit Elite is the most expencive imo - people want to pay 14k for that - its hard to sell a monk for 14k...
But of course sometimes buyers will pay more - if they are in a hurry - or they just have lots of money.
And sometimes they can be bought cheaper - just because the seller dont know the real value - but i always pay fair - so i dont "cheat" a seller - and i tell him the real value.. ;-)

sin elites seem to be creeping back up to around 5k, i bought 3 over the last 2 days and i had to beat them all down to 3k after 5k asking prices. and the tradespam seemed to agree with them, not me.

If u really mean this prices - ill be HAPPY to buy ALL the tomes u can get - u dont really know the right prices ;-) Especially Rit you are VERY wrong...

qft, rits can go up to 15k in my experience, and they are also insanely hard to find.

Is a rit tome really up to 1k?! wow i sold my TWO tomes for 500g each....

/agree This is a great guide to Asian Bot/Sweat shop damage.

Sold 4 normal ranger, 6 normal Warrior very recently. 500g each. Just a matter of not selling in Kaening where you see the same characters selling 24/7 just about.

I completely agree with this, I just didn't see the thread before now or I would've posted it People in a hurry will pay over 1k if they can't get to a skill trainer on the char that needs skills.

Ensoriki, I applaud that kind of behavior. We need more of it in the world. I've been doing the same when I see someone about to do something extremely stupid like paying double what something's worth. Or if everyone in a dist is trade spamming WTB way too low then I isually spam the correct price from the other districts just in case That was happening a lot with the Wintersday items this weekend.

I'm gonna say Eskerod's numbers match up with my experience best, the high range of his numbers are what's in the trade channel everywhere you go. I've never noticed Assassin tomes even asking for more than 250 though (I buy mine at 200 or less). I'm usually in Cantha though.

Sold a Nec Elite for 12k - the buyer were going to buy one for 15k - so i told him that was way too high - and i would sell one for 12k - but now i already feel "guilty" for charging 1k over my "normal" max price - but i just could'nt resist it - hehe

well all regualair tomes should cost between 1k since you have to pay 1k to buy it from skill trainer. but now you not have to reach a area in the game so 1k sounds fair to me
