I have [card]Trapper's Focus[/card] and [card]Tranquil Was Tanasen[/card]
But which one should I choose? This is for a PvE Trapper (Hey, its fun! ) and possible going to AB.
[card]Trapper's Focus[/card]
+ Its a preparation, Stances can be used.
- 2 second casting time, not good when under fire.
+ It lasts a good 17 seconds at 12 expertise. What every trapper should have.
- Only lets your traps not easily interruptible. Plus interrupt skills still have effect.
[card]Tranquil Was Tanasen[/card]
+ Makes everything un-interruptible and Add's armor.
- Its a item spell, staffs will be kind of useless for energy.
+ 1 second casting time, preparations and stances can still be used.
- Needs high Restoration Magic to be effective. Taking away from other attributes.
I need to know, what would be best for PvE and AB
Which Skill for Trapping?
Fluffy Butt
DarkGanni
[skill]Trapper's focus[/skill]
Reason: It shares the same attribute as your energy management, lets you wield a staff and other weapons, and you can simply focus on 2 attributes instead of 3.

^ agree
I feel every skill has a purpose (there are some expections [skill]"It's just a flesh wound."[/skill]) and I don't feel Tranquills is trapping. Just me though

Combine with [skill]Plague Touch[/skill] or [skill]Plague Sending[/skill] and you have a 5e, 0s cast, 1s recharge total condition removal, plus an "apply deep wound to target foe"

Why bother, just bring [skill=text]Restore Condition[/skill] lol
I would never devote an elite in my midline to removing conditions so unless your planning to replace a monk with some form of strange Paragon/Necro healer then just bring RC ^_^
As for the trapper's question to be honest im not a fan of Trapper's Focus, although I still wouldn take Traq was Tan either. Would normally go for something a bit more aggressive like Smoke Trap or Spike Trap and just use some form of blockway to avoid getting interuppted. Not the most reliable method but works
