Lets get rid of capes :)

Lets get rid of the cape for ur guild or you can still have it but u can choose other things like a shield, emblem on ur back/chest etc im tired of capes

in PvE i turn capes off...
but in some of my elite armors i need it to cover up glitches that annoy me..

Step Three: Turn off cape display.

I never display the things, I think the very idea of a cape is goofy looking, regardless of what's on it. But that's fine, that's what the toggle is for, problem solved.

Don't like the cape? Hide option is there for you.

anet should give us finally "personal" capes ...

shield emblems will never happen..because they make simple no sense...
what will then casters get ? not everyone runs around as warrior/paragon with a shield in the hand ...


There an so easy way to let us show personal capes and to let people in pve see. if someone wears hi guild cape or not ...

If you wear your guild cape..you see simple your guild tag [ABC] ...if its your personal one..then people will see this:

[ABC-P]

and et voila..problem would be solved ...and in pvp are so or so all capes either only red or blue ....

that went to the problem..if you don't like guild capes of your guild..then we should be able to make us our personal capes....

then we donät have to make extra new guilds for this..because thats stupid... 1-man guilds..just for having only an own personal cape >.> is silly

Step 2 : ask your ex-guild to be part of your alliance
Really if you want another tag and another cape, that's the best solution. Anet isn't going to do things that already exist, but with another name...
And the cape is supposed to be the emblem of your guild, not your own emblem.

Judging by what I see in town, most people like capes.

Keep capes.

I never display my guild cape. Ours is pretty enough, but the characters just look so silly running all over the place with this little superhero cape flapping along behind. :P Male wars can get away with it, sort of, but everyone else looks goofy with a cape IMO.

Obviously, the mahority of players disagree with me, so toggle FTW.

/notsigned to getting rid of capes, but the guild emblem on a shield would be awesome anyway. I doubt we'll be seeing it in GW1, though.

Capes are fine, just toggle your one off.

and as for the other guild emblem ideas, then anet has to come up with shields that are not over powered etc. Or would they be blank inscribales that you make your own with guild logo? Emblems on armor would be a pain in the ass to configure, and there are a ton of armors to work with. The shield is the only decent idea you had.

You should make your own cape design but the tag at the end of your name should stay..imo

Part of what makes a guild unique is its cape. As others have said, if you don't like it, use the hide button. /notsigned
