Lagg and No Ectos Dropping?

Started Solo Ecto farming in UW about 6:30a.m. till about 8:30 a.m. Didnt get a single Ecto. During this time was experiencing very bad lagg spikes as well as the bolt sign on my ping meter. Not sure if its a Wintersday glitch or server, but i talked to other people in ToA and they said the same exact thing. No Ecto and Lagg spikes. Wondering if its just bad luck or something happened.

Dunno about the ecto thing. But the lag is to be expected. The biggest GW event of the year is naturally gonna cause lag for a lot of us. I'm lagging quite badly today, disconnected twice. But I expected it so...meh.

Had someone go in to UW. Had a couple of runs. Nothin. No Ecto's. Still could be bad luck. That guy #5 with no Ecto's dropping.

Lagged in glint's challenge farming cores, all morning.

Same for me also, ecto doesn't like me apparently.

Same for me with the lag, as for Ecto, they are still dropping for me.

My guild leaders gone 24 consecutive UW runs using the W/Rt farm build without an ecto at all, he's now given up lol.

No lag here, but the ecto thing is probably just bad luck.

I would go 15 and if i didnt get any i would live to farm another day

As for ectos, i haven't really noticed a difference and i think the giant lagg spikes are global because im getting them in TA as well

Had the same issue last year during wintersday.

I did an UW run and got 2 ecto and UW scroll. Next run I got 1 ecto and a gold unid storm bow. The runs are going surprisingly well for me.

I've been getting horrible lag spikes today, too. Got tons of err7s last night.

I wasn't getting lag spikes this morning, so I guess they'll probably get to me later tonight.

Yea, lag is bad, its Wintersday But I don't know about ecto's... /Hopes Anet have nerfed droprate to make them more expensive.

Today 10 runs 0 ecto drops. Yesterday 5 runs with 3 drops/ run! Go figure. A-net is yanking our chain.
