ok, so my idea is simple..Anyone ever seen a semi-good western where scorpions fight other critters and people bet money on it??
If not let me describe the scenario...
You put 2 minipets in a small ring. You dont really control yours except for being able to call it back to you. At which point you lose points in the match for 'retreating" and you have to gain them back with your pet. This will be available whenever you wish.
RULES
You are given 2 mins (ex.) and you have to either gain as many points as you can with your mini, (points will be recorded on hits landed and damage done up to each 30 second mark--You mini will gain health for each point gained. Amaount of dmg will gain your mini multiple points, and so will critical hits.) or have your mini "kill" (as, of course, you would be able to retrieve your mini after it has lost) the other.
Minis will enter the ring and have the same Health, AL, and Energy (ex. 500hp/70AL/40E) Howver they will be equipped with skill sets of the monster/person they resemble) Since some Minipets might be able to deliver bigger amounts of damage than others, everytime, there will be a maximum damage limit (say 40).
You can call it back to you whenever you wish, at a maximum of 3 times.
At the end, the greater number of points will be recorded by the referee, who will then grant the winner his money and/or other prizes.
Others (along from the two owners) will be able to bet money and/or items/materials etc. against 1 other participant. You will be able to pick that person, who you can afford to bet against, from a "list".
At the end of the fight, you will be able to gather your winnings from the referee or if you have bet and lose, what you put on the line will be lost to you and you will not be able to retrieve them. Leaving the town/oupost early will not save you from losing what you bet. Instead you will suffer a penalty to your next fight of 50hp to your pet, or to your next bet (1000g) cost to place a bet.
BONUSES
Minis will gain names such as Gladiator, Veteran, Elder, Agressive and so on, as they gain wins.
If you win multiple times in a row (5) you gain a bonus to your Minis health and energy (ex. +50hp and +5e) This will be applied every 5 in-a-row wins you accomplish. howver if you manage 9 wins and lose the 10th, you lose all bonuses. If you win the 10th you gain +50hp/+5e more.
If both minis have won 5 in a row, then the bets you will need to place in order to participate (for the owners) will be greater. A cost of (ex. 2k) would be added to bids placed by observers against one another.
The bet of Minis having won 10 in a row, along with 5k needed to enter and other bets placed, will be the actual mini!!
The player 1st in the ring will place a bet and the challanger WILL HAVE TO MEET THE BET OR EXCEED IT TO PARTICIPATE in which case the Host will have to meet that bet as well. and so on.
Minimum bet by owners will be 2k for each win, so at 5 you will need to bet atleast 10k to enter. this will remain your cost untill you reach 10mins where it will cost you +5k and after that it will be reset back to 10 until you reach 15, and so on
All wins after 10 will cost your minipet, but another +5k will only be added every +5 wins above 10, so at 15,20 and so on
So you dont have to go back and forth to storage if someone exceeds your bet, a storage window will be provided during this event, where you are able to see what you can bet. After you click on an item a window will ask you do you really want to bet this yes/no. After which this item will be placed into the betitng pool
Lets put these minis to some use other that HoM!!!
