Critique my build, please (be nice)
hellskitchenguy
smiting = 16
healing = 8
protection = 11
divine = 12
Domination = 2
Shadow Agent (5) rank in Vanguard title
All superior runes, but no -50Hp cesta (although I do have it, just not using it much), so my HP is 105
weapon = Kepkhet's Refuge
Skills:
Mending, Blessed Aura, Ebon Vanguard Assasin Support, Healing Breeze, Shield of Judgement, Castigation Signet, Protective Spirit, Power Spike
Basically, I shoot Ebon Vanguard Assasin Support first to soften them up, then pre-prot with Protective Spirit and Shield of Judgement when they get too close. I interrupt sometimes with Power Spike, and for energy management, I use Castigation Signet, and damage them to boot.
I've achieved Protector of Tyria & Elona with this build, but any improvements, constructive criticism is always welcome.
Thanks,

Why not just use a basic cookie cutter 105 build. Instead of relying on inturupts you could gain energy from Balthazar's Spirit + EB. Would be much easier IMO.
hellskitchenguy
That's for nasty enemy casters or against strip/rend enchantments. Or against monsters that would use degen spells. Those are the bane of 55/105 monks.

This is fine if it working for you with heros and hench but in party change it to normal healing or protect.No one cares what you do with H/H only in a real party.

Good luck inturupting an entire mob filled with them with one inturupt skill.

I don't generally go solo, as I usually bring heroes/henchies/guildies along when I'm doing quests/missions, only when I farm,(only on areas where there are only melee opponents). So, the heroes are there for additional support/damage/interupts. I use (Mending, Essence Bond, Blessed Aura, Holy Strike, Shield of Judgement, Blessed Signet, Protective Spirit, Shield of Absorption) for my solo farming build. But thanks for the critiques, and keep 'em coming!

Farming forums is that way --->
If you're running this for general PvE, I don't even know where to start trolling. Maybe tab or moko can help me out.
OR WAIT MAYBE YOU ARE MOKO!

Hehe, not MOKO (don't even know that person), but I kinda got sidetracked by the cookie cutter 105 critique, and I was just explaining that I do use that only for farming, but I was looking for critiques, suggestions or improvements on the 1st build that I put up. Again, I usually adventure with heroes/henchies/guildies for general PvE. I was just looking for improvements. Thanks!

Well you have GWEN and if you must play a smiter build in non solo PvE use 600 HP.
In general PvE 105 health monks don't make that great tanks.
As a smiter you are a (not very good) damage dealer.
Using [skill=text]Divine Boon[/skill] and [wiki]Smiters Boon[/wiki] you can heal for 140-160 with spiting prayers spells that don't heal at all, that is how a smiter makes up for their sub par damage dealing.
It is the only use of [skill=text]Balthazar's pendulum[/skill] it is the shortest recharge skill in smiting prayers and the only worthy way you are going to squeeze a reasonable healing from smiting prayers, even though it costs 7 energy and doesn't make an elite heal because of that, the 1 spot where there is a use for [skill=text]Balthazar's pendulum[/skill] and even there it is bad.
But that is the base you should build a smiting build for non solo PvE from, hell some puggs might not even distinguish you from a bad healing prayers monk as your healing is on par with a restoration rit(except your recharge is slower), until they notice what enchantments there are in their status bar.
Another good use for smiting prayers in general PvE is using [skill=text]Defender's Zeal[/skill] on a bonder monk, to maintain more than 1 [skill=text]Protective bond[/skill] at a time, along with the other skills commonly used by bonders.
All in all the best use for a monk is still to:
1)heal & protect his steam
2)heal or protect his team

Thanks, Crush! I'll definitely give that a try and see if that works out.

I wouldn't use the -50 cesta and the superior runes I didn't see that in my first part.The smiting skils are what I was looking at as they are ok for hero,henching.

Yet it's still not a scratch on the N/W Riposte Survivor.
That, my friend, was an epic build.

This is fun and all, but can we get back to actual discussion of the OP's build before I have to close this?
